Game gets super fucking boring and half the shit you do post lvl 40 is bugged. Will try the game out again in a few months.

Sad to hear all this bugged out BS, I was really considering switching over to AoC. Keep up the bitch crusade though guys, eventually they'll have to comply.
It sounds like they made a truly legitimate game pre40. I guess they just planned on adhoccing post40 and hoping the subscribers don't level too fast. They obviously don't know their demographic.
In all honesty, is this even worth buying at this point, or should I just wait a month or two until things stabilize?

Well, i am having fun with it. HOWEVER, my real life doesn't permit me to sit and play anything over a few hours a day (if that). And, like I have said before, i still really havent gotten past the single player part. From what i have played sof ar, it was worth the price of admission. I think this is going to turn out to be an excellent game. It has been pretty good for me so far, but I havent gotten high enough to see the glaring problems yet.

Since you said you cant read the forums here is what they want to fix today
"Traders and banks should be back after this update."
I REALLY hope they can manage to do that.
Overall my impression of the game is pretty mixed.
- graphics: I'm not really impressed but they are good I give em that
- gameplay: Nice I play a demo(mage lvl 2x) so it isn't that different from other MMORPGs, though there are some feats which are bugged or are simply just not usefull. My pet doesn't do any significal damage. It doesn't hold/generate aggro. So all it does is give me a buff -.-
- quests: Ok I don't like em, run to A, run to B, run back to A, back to B and as a reward you get some kickass item your class can't even use, yay! At least they seem to be getting better. (the running around was mostly in the destiny quest)
- items: maybe it gets better later on but so far this is just really BELOW average, there is such a little variation, when I ported after I did my destiny quest I saw like 10 other mages and everyone looked basically the same, which sucks! On top of that I often have really dumb quest rewards like mentioned above or I get an item I can use and it has some cool +hiding skill which I really need being a mage and all :/
- contant: so far it's good but I'm at a low lvl so that's basically a given.
- crafting: didn't do it myself yet but I heared it's bugged/not fun/not usefull (yet)
Despite all that it's fun to play, I just hope they do patch a LOT in the NEAR future since there is so much stuff just being off. Oh and patching stufff and NOT mentioning it in the patch notes = not funny :/

Personaly I would take MasterJuba's comments with a grain of salt. I've yet to experience anything he's mentioned. Not stating that they are not true but so far there are no game breaker bugs. I wouldn't hold off if you are interested in the game because it's a wonderfull & enjoyable game. Yes it has it's flaws but like any other MMO it's a constant work in progress.

Out of those little bugs you showed in there I have only experienced the "In Defence of the Beauty" is bugged, it has VERY long timer and random.. the door glitch and swimming up the waterfall. But none of those are gamebreaking and I have been enjoying the game.
Btw, the latency jumping like that is most likely on your end, haven't gone over 150ms for me ever and none of my clannies have had any lag issues either.
so I would agree with Ace170780 and the MasterJuba's comments with grain of salt
And before you start asking my level I am 51

i cant exactly record field of the dead crashes, traders are still down and there is no content post 40 quest wise. face up fanboy, its not a revolutionary game, just bog standard bug fest mmo ala vanguard.

Field of the Dead was fixed today and it doesn't crash anymore and before that you only needed to turn your sounds off to stop it from crashing, traders are being installed back in tonights patch and I have had no problems finding quests after 40. As I said I am lvl51 and I have my quest log completely full atm.

Yah, there's a fair bit of bugs and there's not enough quests after 40-50'ish. Far from the worst start I've seen for a MMORPG though, considering it's only like 4 days old or so. Anyway, despite the problems the game has at least one thing going for it; it's really fun to play. And that's what's most important, because that's not something you can 'fix' with a patch. All these other problems will eventually get sorted out, given time.

How do you gather resources, like cotton or something? I have to gather it for a quest, but when i press the plant i don't get any. Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong.

and yesterday I decided to vendor all my saved up greens that I wanted to sell in the AH because my inventory was full and I couldn't take it anymore.
nooooo! :P
about time for the bank/ah to be back up though, it's ridiculous to have such an important thing not working at release.

It may need some time to get polished thats true (just like any other MMO)
But its still the best MMO on the market IMO ... Even WoW didnt get me this hooked at the beginning. But I may be lucky not to experience any performance issues etc..

- wow is 3 years old , aoc 6 days
- the launch of wow was a disaster , 75% of the user , had trouble to make a account and the wow servers was off
- wow was buggy too , the many patches in the first months , had make wow playble
the aoc launch is better. the game is buggy , yes. a no mmo game is bugfree at the launch day.
