Not really, as it's a console port. My guess is, if you can run AC, you can run this.

Far cry 2 isnt a console port. It was started first on PC and only a few months ago the console versions were announced.
It was then delayed to release all versions simultaneously.

even if that was the case, they'd start consolizing the game to make it easier for development, they're not going to have FC2 be so different in releases. Hell even 2K said bioshock was supposed to be so different than the console part, ha! all we got was some different menu interface and that was about it. |

and the Dx10 features.. but not like they where that much of a step up.
Also a few plasmids more than the xbox version wasnt it? not sure..

Bleh where is the physic effects , guess the Xbox360 version that was shown in this movie doesn't have those , remember those movies when you can Burn grass that is affected by the wind , you can blow up any tree and shoot off any branch ... lets hope the PC version will have those physic effects ... graphics are OK but this game was marketed for its Physics not graphics

can't see what is better just by watching videos!
but yeah, this is definitely not just a cheap crysis clone.
it'll supposedly give you total freedom in what to do, kind of like a non-linear rpg, and I believe there are also no aliens or mutants involved which is a +
still, wether or not it will actually be a good game remains to be seen.
Gotta play the game because videos only show the best aspects of a game, and no game is perfect.
there will be things in this game that suck that we don't know about and the devs definitely won't tell us before the release.

You are correct, what I meant (and should have written) was that comparing gameplay video games of both, Far Cry 2 looks much more promising and just better overall. Like you said, no aliens/monster, which for me is a huge plus, plus this one looks like it will have a story that has a start, a middle and an end ( ). |
