The slow down is making this game unbearable. I'm sure it's gonna be one of those games like Rainbow six V2 where half the world has no slowdown and the other half does. Damn, it is virtually unplayable

What do you mean by slowdown? |
stuttering like Rainbow 6 did for some people, think it may be a flash issue i'm on 1.2c

what firmware are you using. did you get fps problems with rainbow six vegas 2?

Well i have some Xtreme firmware (dont know which) and have no stuttering/freezing at all so far

i know, no one got to the bottom of it last time. seriously considering getting a new box
do you use imgburn or clonecd?
after reading around, i think i need to reflash to 12x speed ?

I use IMGburn with Verbs 2.4x burning at 1x

God, it's been so long since I flashed I can't remember. The first stealth hitachi firmware I think. This is a banned 360 so I never bothered keeping it up to date after it got banned.
Funnily enough, I'm actually playing vegas 2 aswell at the moment which works great.

I'm getting little stops as well , but only in replay
None in the races
Enjoying the first few races so far , Find myself watching some of the replays as well as some truly awesome stuff happens between the back markers 
Can tires burst as on the first race with the viper was behind the mustang and next thing I know out of no where his rear left wheel started sparkling like fuck and he rolled , ended up winning the race at a canter as I went wide to avoid it and everyone else plowed into him

It may sound like something simple but It may be that you need to run a lens cleaner in your drive,Give it a try

Had that problem with my PS2, clean the lens then everything work perfectly without freezings

great game, handling improved from demo i think as can actually stay on track better. Speed is awesome, as are the races with AI cars actuallly losing their traction. Personally think its better than PGR4 as its more "in your face", seat of your pants fun
