Crack doesnt work, obviously everyone who says the game plays fine after the galaxy map is lying.

Until now game wouldn't even start. I am running vista 64. I ran it as "admin" and now evrything seems to be fine. Vista users give it a try.

Click Cancel and try again. It works.
Anyway, another theory. Its possible that the Detonation DVD is corrupted or something, while the RELOADED one has everything in place. SO even if you use both cracks on the detonation install, the game still dies out at the galaxy map. Whilist using the Reloaded DVD, game might work?

i dont have either the detonation or reloaded version, i got a version thats simply the install files.. so i dont think that theory works.. its still gotta be the cracks.

I installed in D:\Mass Effect\
I used default male Shepard, chose soldier class.
I have the DTN version installed.

OK, for the morons that keep guessing my integrity (ultra noobs that have no idea who I am and how serious I am), I'm gonna make a fraps movie of me loading a game. It's in mid mission so no galaxy map, but I've got to that mission with it.
