I recently got a lot of RROD 360's that I am getting bootable and playable one by one. (just for fun mind you) Anyhoo, I am kinda tempted to flash the drives, but is there a way to tell if the drive has been flashed before? (Without putting a backup game in I suppose)

Just put in a backup even though you fro some reason don't want to.

He can't. The drives probably need new lasers.

Ah.. I'm good.. Ended up dumping the firmware and reading it in toolbox.. Bleh.. And no... it's not that I didn't want to insert a backup game it's just that I didn't have any handy..

And while I had it hooked up I went ahead and flashed it as well.

And oh yea... Jenni.. you and your lasers.... The laser was juuuust fine. ;P

Hehehe can you blame me the trouble I've had.
Is that a repaired machine you've flashed?
Have you ordered the Willem programmer yet?

Yep.. Whoever had tried to repair it before had NO idea what they were doing. It was a mess.

And that's a negatory on the willem programmer as of yet. Gimme a break here.. I'm running between BBQ, suntanning and fixing 360's here.. There are only so many hours in the day you know... Razz

And tomorrow I have to add work on top of that.. sigh.. no justice in the world.
