Ok guys,
Its kind of a small problem but it bothers me a lot!
But i have an Evga 8800GT Superclocked an AMD 6400+ Black Edition Processor and 2 gigs of ram... But yet there is texture flickering going on and stuff, idk if thats artifacts or what but i see flickers of the textures/models.
And i want to know if that is a game problem or a pc problem...
I know that the 8800GT is a good card for its price but i don't think it should be artifacting you know?

It can be your GPU thats artifacting maybe, or a driver issue.

Where is your attention to detail? Look at the bottom of the screen and there is a list of keys for each submenu possible. To access advanced gfx settings press Shift.

I use Kaspersky Internet Security and the game doesn't start. It's a known issue (it's already discussed in Codemasters and Kaspersky forums). Does anybody have a solution to play it anyway? In my opinion a Security Suite is more important than a game. And I love my Kaspersky more than any other Security Suite. But the game looks so awesome. I finally want to play it but a patch won't be available before two weeks.

If KIS is installed the Game doesn't start even it is disabled. So nothing with "disable it". Any other solutions?

Having played this game now for a number of hours I have to say the the handling is piss poor. The game runs smoothly and is graphically fairly good, with an interesting sinlge player mode and some great tracks. It's just a shame they forgot the most important part...........the handling of the cars. The cars feel unresponsive and 'boaty' at times, and at other times a little too sensitive. I've adjusted the settings and it's no better. I'm done with the game, pity, it could have been fun.

Scyphe wrote: | Runs perfectly here. I was actually surprised I could run it maxed out and still have a totally smooth 60fps experience. The only thing that isn't nice are the shadows. They look like crap and there's weird anomalies going on around the edges and inside the shadows. Typical of console->PC ports. |
U can try to tweak the shadow settings to a higher size, dont know if it works higher, cause i disabled them.
in the hardware_settings_config.xml / shadows enabled="true" size="1024"
Setting maskQuality="1" to =0 / will also give u a fps boost according to the readme,
(Turning down the shadow mask quality to 0 has been found to provide good framerate improvements for those with older graphics cards.)
(located in My Documents\Codemasters\GRID\hardwaresettings\hardware_settings_config.xml)
I lowered some settings in this config file, for some extra frames.
