Look at the estimated time....this mean its not working cause its suppose to take 12 minutes top...so you're basicly waiting for nothing.

Well, buying it didn't necessarily help me. I got the game installed around 2pm this afternoon. And then it took me till 7:30 this evening to get the damn thing authenticated.
What a TOTAL clusterfuck the game registration wizard is. Either that, or Steam really underestimated how much their servers were going to be overloaded.
Honesly, with all the bullshit I went through to get the damn thing running, I would have to say it wasn't worth the 60 bucks.
As for the game itself, it ROCKS!

You are foolish. I am downloading HL2 from scratch. All ~4GB of it. So that's why it's taking so long. Trust me this way works. Valve is just banning steam accounts for using the keys that are going around.

Leeched the Imperio worked fine after few min playing I had msg saying AI offline all shit in game stopped but not my char , anyway I aplied the Half.Life.2.OFFLINE.ACTIVATION.PATCH-oWNAGE wich they say is a virus well fuck the n00bs cause it aint a virus I checked it multiple times , even let it scanned by some other peeps and its not a virus , anyway then people say its doing nothing well I`m not sure about that either cause after aplying it the AI is working again and i`m actualy playing the imperio now for almost 2 hours , second since I saw some peeps saying about the #1.6 chans and #halflife2 chans and what other chans out there its filled with P2P idiots and most talk from there ass , anyway I dont give a fuck what u think about me saying this but again the imperio works , still hehehe if reloaded would release it I prolly get there release also (a backup never heard), about people that say buy the game well sure if it was payeble but I not pay 60 euro for a game that only contains a box with a dvd and not even a freeking manual or whatever cause its to much second paying that for a game and U cant play it cause the steam shit is overloaded is just pathetic they had months months months to plan this and still they fuck up great job valve for letting alot of people down , but then again I dont think U care since alot of people spended there money on it anyway , still I also got a good word to valve : NICE GAME .

You do know it's insanely easy to change a virus so that no established virus scanners can find it, right? Why do you think they have to release updates for the all variants?

comp still running fine here rebooted few times no slow downs or whatever so naah I dont think its a virus , prolly some dick maked that up and the whole p2p idiots believe it.

Awww, I just noticed an e-mail from Valve. Seems I may not get to play HL2 again after all. They already got rid of my first pc's account through this exploit, and now as soon as I am finished downloading the HL2 content from this account/pc I may get a message that says "Duplicate key, you can't play!". Works! some people are getting crashed at the middle of the game but with the error fix lots of people are playing just fine

no it does not, Emporio is going to release a proper tommorow , which is not retail, and reloaded will release the retail cracked copy tommorow as well.
