Erm, does anyone else have problems with ridiculous amounts of flickering ingame?
Whole trackparts seem to flicker in / out of existence making racing very difficult and making the game look like shit Smile.
I tried modifying settings but to no avail.
ATI 1950PRO, latest ATI drivers, hope someone can help out....

Had the same problem with the 8.4 drivers, but the 8.5 ones worked for me.
For some people, rolling back the drivers to version 8.2 fixes the problem.

1.1 patch is out. Haven't downloaded it yet, so I don't know if previous crack still works.

Figured out I needed to rollback the ati drivers to 8.2. No problems now (except the steering which needs some getting used to, jesus)...

Nah, I can't bother to prove myself so much. It's not really much of an acheivement, since it's a game and all, you know... Plus, just like you, I'm going through an exam period for University and I try to keep distractions at a minimum.

I'll pwn you all later.

...bah.

It works with just DT Lite 4.12.3. No need for YASU or drivespeed or anything.

Well as far as i can say, Shadows look OK now and the slowdowns are gone... Not sure but seems they have lowered the aggressively of the AI drivers a bit.

This game is great, but the one thing that pisses me off to no end is that the AI seems to treat every single race like a destruction derby, but only against me, and barely ever against each other. Especially in the later races, I wind up restarting the race 4 or 5 times in the first 20 seconds because these wankers insist on crashing into me in the very first corner.

Fav car so far, the Lambo. Finished all bottom leagues, and just finished got my Euro A license. Definitely prefer the Euro races to the US and Japan ones so far, cars and tracks.

It's not the AI, it's you Smile Been only rear ended once in my career and driven over half of it. If you drive in the driving line at racing speed, no-one is crashing you. You either crash to AI or block them from the side. I've even spun sideways straight on to AI and he made a full stop, not to hit me.

Be more aware of the AI and leave them space in corners if you are side by side (like you should online too) and you'll lose the thing pissing you off.

That's not true about the AI. They don't crash on the first corner like crazy unless you push them or break very hard or try to overtake entire pack from last position on the very first corner. Just start slowly and then work your way up.

EU is my favorite as well.

What's with these controls? I ever so slightly tap left, just barely, and the car makes a fucking 90 degree left turn? Tried adjusting the sensitivities, but those only seem to work for wheels/gamepads.
