the new Hulk 6/10 (just came back from the theatre) as expected (by me) the 2003 Hulk is much better. Norton ain't no Banner, story dull, boring and told 100% in trailers. The Tony Stark scene at the end was the only nice moment (which is an introduction to the 2010 or 2011 movie with all the superheroes in it).
P.S. FX at par with 2003 Hulk except the final NYC fight maybe

The Hulk really is a disappointment whille the Happening is kinda subtle. If you liked The Signs (like I did) you'll love H. Otherwise you'll regret wasting the ten bucks.

Well my take on the two movies that came out this weekend:
The Happening- 5/10. Started off well then just dragged along and start to turn into an unintentional comedy. The acting and dialog halfway through just got really bad.
Incredible Hulk-8/10. Great action and acting and an overall fun movie. Norton was pretty much great in the role and fit it well in my opinion. Not as good as Iron Man but much better than the 2003 Hulk.

Well, that's standard US opinion. Mindless CGI with no acting (except Roth) and a twistless 200% predictable story gets 8 and an unusual intelligent movie hits a 5. *sigh*

Oh yeah blame it on me being from the US. Typical. I had high hopes with Happening. Shyamalan needed this movie to be successful and good or his career is officially in the shitter. Judging from the reviews on RottenTomatoes I wouldn't be surprised if he has a hard time making his own movies now. It's at 21%. It was lower yesterday. And I agree with it. It's his weakest movie. His next movie is Avatar which is completely different from his normal movies.
As an action flick I enjoyed Hulk. And that's all it's suppose to be. An action flick. It's about a man who turns into a giant green thing that breaks shit. Norton, Hurt, and Roth were all great in the movie like they usually are. At RottenTomatoes it's at 67%. It was higher yesterday though.
Next time you don't agree with someone's opinion don't go and have a fit and blame it on something stupid. Yeah I'm from the US but not all of us are dumb morons. Everyone has their own opinion. Don't go thinking your opinion is always the right one. As I enjoyed Hulk and didn't like Happening that's my opinion. Doesn't mean it's right or wrong.

Hulk is boring 2hr movie with two 5-7 min long CGI action sequences and a cast of serious actors that don't understand what the fuck they're doing in this piece of junk.

In Bruges 9/10 - Excellent little gem of a movie that strikes a perfect balance between its absurd humour and plot of self despair. Also one of the very few movies where Colin Farrell is not a complete douchebag - he's actually suprisingly good, and funny, in this movie.

Premonition - 8/10
Been waiting to see this one for a while. Kept putting it off until my lady said lets watch it. So I gave in.
I was pleasently suprised. It scared me in some places, really eerie, I have kinda a phobia of death and reincarnation/premonition related subjects.. Good little story, never quite know whats going on until the end (Which is a great ending IMO).

Memento (first time seeing it) - 9.5/10
Wow what a movie, and in a words of Shyamalan, what a twist. Shyamalan could learn a thing or two about a great twist (aside of sixth sense, which i did not see comming). I need another watch though, to understand it more.
Spoiler: | So was Lenny, Sammy in his own fantasy? His wife did not die in the attack, but Lenny couldnt form short term memory after the attack, and his wife decided to test him (or just wanted to die), and ODed on insulin? At least thats how i understood it. |
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Krest, in order to understand Memento properly, several viewings are required/recommended. Each time you'll find more and more info you haven't noticed or didn't know you should notice. You'll find the answers you look for in the spoiler best that way.
If you don't have the patience, look for Memento FAQs/guides around the net, there are several excellent ones. Watching the movie after reading one is also recommended.

The Incredible Hulk - 7/10
I would say this is on par with Iron Man, I did not see the need for comparing it to the other Hulk movie, it made it seem like they were un-related.
The Illusionist - 8/10
A much better Edward Norton movie! I saw this for second time again with a bunch of friends who had not seen it, they all liked it very much.

The Incredible Hulk 8/10. It was very enjoyable. I think Vodka your kind of out of tune for attacking someone cause they though the movie was good. Now that makes 2 of us and im from Canada. Please bash me with your ignorance. Anyway there were variations of the comic book. The Hulk, The Incredible Hulk so I take both Hulk movies in the same light. Same Story told in 2 different styles. And FYI I still love the old movie.

Cool and different "European" style gangster movie. Really good acting from Farrell, never really liked him (Alexander etc), but in this he is great!.
