SycoShaman,
Go back to the previous floor and look around there. You'll find another stairwell to go upstairs and reach your contact.

i just finished the game, what a goddamn amzing game i particulary love the redux of act 4, inspired stuff. Amzing graphics solid frame rate, incredible story, intuitive gameplay, and i havent even tried online yet. Worth every penny if only other developers put this much care into their games. And finally we get a game where seemless cutscene to gameplay is actually that. Some of the ways in which he jumps out of the cutscene into the action are just incredible. wow, i feel like i played a kick ass game and watched a kickass movie true interactive entertainment

Did you guys find the ufo landing place . It was like a crop cirle in grass. You can find it when youre searching for naomi and have to track down there shoe prints.
You get like a flashback sound thingie and 1.000 dp.

you have to admit kojima puts every developer to shame, you're hard pressed to find a game as of today that looks this good on any system. I mean take a game like crysis for all its super effects the art direction is nowhere nr as good as this game. All of the cutscenes are rendered realtime within the engine and sometimes the lighting and texture work is so damn good it looks real. I mean who wasnt blown away the first time they started to play it and the cutscene gave way to the game, pure seemless transition with no drop in visual quality. And the level in the snow just amazing attention to detail. Just goes to show what the PS3 under a bunch of talented developers is truely capable of

Ive got a question. How do you tell the difference between rebels (who are on your side and wont fire at you) and PMC soldiers?

i dont mind the install time 8 min install then during the levels and sections the loads are like 3 seconds. And a quick 3min install for each act its not that bad really, get up take a piss grab a drink and ur ready to go.
You factor in what the install gives you, seemless cutscene to gameplay, super fast loading no popin, no texture tearing ecerything is cheched into the hard drive.
The rebels will fire at you if they dont know who you are but if you take down a PMC soldier then they will remain on your side, or you can wear the rebel disguise which u find in a locker (middle one) in the rebel hideout in act1

Ok another question (one that is pissing me the fuck off). Im fighting Laughing Octopus in Act 2. Well, me and my girl are. We have her down to half life and she's fuckin disappeared. Ive run through the whole place like 100 times and she's no where.
So my question is, how the fuck do you find her and or kill her?
Every so often black smoke appears and thats it. She doesnt. WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!
Its really pissing both of us off. Like we want to enjoy the game but shit like this ruins it completely.
A half hour of walking around trying to find this fuckin cunt.
So please, someone tell me how to find her and beat her. Cause im ready to snap the fuckin disc in half

She's wearing camouflage. Where she hides after being attacked is different. The hardest place I came across was the one near the scanning machine. Those wires aren't wires but tentacles. Freaky boss, especially the... well, enjoy
(I found a grenade launcher mod on the M4 came in handy for this)

use the solid eye in normal mode when you get near her she will start talking shit to you like "you cant fnd me" blah blah when she makes a sound the disturbance will show up on the radar giving you a good idea which direction to look in. Otacon will occasionally say hrmm that doesnt look right blh blah if ur looking in the general direction. A good heavy machine gun will kill her faster than the grenade launcher if you aim right.

Use nightvision mode on your Solid Eye. Then shes easy to spot even with her stealth camo.

EDIT: damn i still haven't figured out how do you grapple people. I always end up killing them or tranq their ass ><. Also, I wish this game didn't get corny at times(scene with Meryl's team for example) with typical lame jap humour.
The night beckons me

SycoShaman, the threat indicator (the circle around snake) also gives away her position too... or at least what direction she is. It'll turn red in the general direction that she is.
I didn't realise before but after I killed the last beast, with the tranq gun I got her face as a face camo. Can anyone confirm if this is true for the rest of the beast too?.
