Add to it the fact that the voice we hear as our own is not how our voice actually sounds to other people. We hear our voice through the air as well as through the internal ent canals. I have heard my recorded voice played back and the difference is shocking.

Yeah same here, sometimes to the extent I don't recognize it lol. But for some reason my voice changes with my mood swings, so I have to record 10 or so...
I am just curious. How many people like the sound of their voice. I hate mine.
I dunno. I dont like or dislike my voice. Ive been told i sound sexy but i dont hear it.

I was nervous as a kid if I had to read outloud. One of my ever so clever parents thought it was a good idea to tape record the sound of my voice as I read so they could aggressively educate me on exactly how stupid and pathatic I actually sounded. This went on for 4, 5 and 6 hours. I can't stomach the sound since.
Where is your voice, least you got some positive feedback about your? I know you don't like pictures but you could do a voice?
I hate my voice too, when I talk Dutch. People from the south of the country only dislike my accent, because it's very Amsterdam-esque. When I talk English though, I have a pretty heavy British of Australian accent, and I actually don't really dislike that all that much.

There is a mic if you use the video part of a camera, and some mp3 players can record as well. Too much work tho. I haven't recorded with my mic. Used skpye tho. That was kinda cool.

Well, I have no camera and im almost certain my mp3 player (if i could find it) doesnt have a mic.
If I come up with some money sometime soon, I'll buy a cheap mic for just for ya tho
