If you didn't like inside then don't watch frontiers. Doomsday is an ok action movie. Kinda like Mad Max.

If you liked TCM, grab TCM2 or The Hills Have Eyes 1&2. They're inferior to TCM but a dozen times better than Frontiers.

TCM the beginning was okish, but just a bad copy from the first (2003).
Hills have eyes 1 was good too, but the trailers from the second didn't leave a good impression so I skipped it. I love fast paced survival horror movies Sad f.e. like 28 days/weeks later and so on.

Frontiers is really really hardcore : plenty of blood, very brutal deaths and a really -disgusting climate all along. It's kind of a french-modern Texas Chainsaw Massacre...

With all the love you brought to the board lately, I'd suggest Knocked Up (if you haven't watched it yet). That's a very funny movie, a bit crude sometimes but in a clever way, hilarious most of the time but really touching in the end (I loved it).

Yeah, Knocked Up is ok , although I was a bit disgusted with the character being a 25+ looking guy behaving like a 15 y.o.

Speaking of Seth Rogen I suggest Superbad Uncut or Director's Cut, whatever it is Very Happy

No, it's pretty much apart from all the vanilla love crap. You can also try Lost in Translation, Big Fish and Notting Hill. They're totally different but somehow they all give me that same warm feeling. Also Groundhog Day and Family Man among the oldies.

Yeah it's the only one without a happy ending. If you ain't seen the others, please do - they're really great classics nowadays. You got a nice list. I'll post more if I remember anything.

They sure are better movies, but I enjoyed Frontiers more because it was more trash and fucked-up (details in the spoiler but don't be afraid, they don't really ruin the movie)

Good suggestions ppl and I'm watching love actually at the moment. Pretty sweet movie Smile
thx vodka

I didn't like knocked up thou, because the german dubbing was complete shit and I didn't like the humor, while Superbad was really funny, especially the cops were great Laughing

Big Fish is very good too.. and Magnolia gave me this great feeling too. I love this movie Smile

Just don't get too hyped, the story and characters are very cheap, but it still earned 6.2 on IMDB because it's fun.

EDIT:

Russians in movies usually drink vodka and say "noztrovje" (i hope you can recongize what I mean) while the Germans in frontiers drink blood and say "Reines Blut".
Germans 1, Russians 0. Very Happy

Best portrayal of russians in a foreign movie: Birthday Girl with Nicole Kidman. I smell a very good language coach and director's assistant.

Eastern Promises was supposed to look uber realistic but doesn't even come close except for the tattoos on the dead guy.

Movie was very good, but one thing distracted ALL MY ATTENTION! Damn, at the beginning this guy (who is leaving to write his book), says goodbye to his girlfriend and says he loves her. Then all of a sudden he falls in love with the portuges girl and his girlfriend is never been seen again?! WTF, did I miss some important part in this movie?

PS: I read on IMDB, that she cheated on Jamie. WHERE? ...

After some weeks of pause finally i enjoy a couple of movies ... well it would have been better to rest some time ago Smile
The Ruins (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0963794/) : 4,5/10 ... mediocre horror (horror ?) movie with an assassin wine monster, capable to mimic the rings of a mobile phone too ! I want one !
Superhero Movie : 3/10 ... i like sometimes a movie with little brain, but this one is too much ! Poor Leslie Nielsen !

The Forbidden Kingdom.

Finally watched it...

I hated everyone and almost every thing in this movie apart from jackie... he was great in this just like he is in everything he does, i love watching his films... his line delivery is always great, but so is his visual comedy... a sigh, a look, his posture... a small gesture from him can carry so much weight, i dont think he gets nearly the credit he deserves for being such a solid actor, everyone just sees him for the guy that does martial arts, acts crazy, has a funny accent, and does his own stunts....

Apart from his lines (and im sure this is mainly because of how well he delivered them), the dialogue was corny (not funny corny, just cheesy and lame), bad score, bad camera work, lame characters (but was this done on purpose to give the movie that cheap western-view and ideals of asian films kinda feel? like how americans mock chinese films and their characters, so they were purposely made to be insanely lame in this film, as a kind of joke?), the acting was pretty pathetic, and also the direction was crappy for the most part as well.

So besides from how fun it was too see jackie, the only other thing that I enjoyed about this, was the awesome choreography... i havent seen fight choreography this good in an american film for a LONG time... it was great... pity it didnt have a good movie to go along with it.

:: side note.. if you took all the annoying child actors in the movie industry, mixed em all together with diabolical science, and let the result simmer for a few years, i bet youd get that annoying useless fucking kid in this movie.

6/10 (and the bulk of that score is for jackie and the fights)
