Bought the game, played it for 14 hours, putting the game on the "shelves" (steam shelves, bought the silver) I might pick it up iagain f there are good mods
74 bucks for 14 hours? Thats ok,

I am downloading half life 2 emporio torrent for 2 days now. But it stopped at 98%. Availability says 0.980. Does anyone have the same problem? Is this file incomplete? Should I download another one?

I'm pretty sure a nocd crack will fix the pausing here & there, just as it did with DX2, its checking the cd or something. So hope there a crack too. |

i mean.. take Chronicles of riddick.. that was also very short.. but one of the best console games ever made.

I keep gettin an error that says "connection to steam servers lost. Could not aquire necessary game files" right after i try to start a new game.
I tried to do that rename the file in steam/steamapps folder but i dont have one....
am i supposed to down load steam for this to work?

Still noone that confirm that Half-Life_2_READ_NFO-EMPORiO is the "Valve version"? That would be awfully stupid of them. Since that version seems to be working flawlessly with that fix!

Had a weird problem with this rls...used the ape fix and have been plying for some hours...then suddenly the next time i loaded all the ai was shut down..all the characters just stand moping...anyone had simular problems?

as stated previously, in the console type 'ai_disable 0' without the quotes, and enter.

Wow.. Thats wierd that the Emporio Fix works!!!! I tried patching the damn game all night yesterday with the APE Emporio fix and i keep getting this DOS error.. Any suggestions???

No problems here... did a test With Emporio release only, i got the steam error.. then i did the APE fix that contains a .DLL file and placed it in the Bin map.. and it works Great! no Errors no AI bugs, no missing textures Nothing is bad.... i think you people just need to look at the rescourses your downloading from, couse i have no problems at all!
Great game, im in ravenhole now... scarry shit happening there.

Make sure you put it in the /root/hl2/bin folder and not just root/bin
works great - newell can flush himself for pissing off legit users with this 'call mommy to play my game' protection

i don't know about you guys but after playing few chapters with the EMPORiO release I am going to go and buy this game. It's definetily worth my money and I haven't said that in a long time.. very nice, very nice.
