Non the less, cant really do much to you anyways, seeing as what they technically woul dbe doing would be illegal, but the fact still remains I think everyone here owes it to the few great companies that are still around to give them 50 bucks. Hell whats 50 bucks an entire year....

If it's the "program too big to fit in memory" error you're talking about I fixed that by extracting the ISO again using daemon tools to mount the image then dragging and dropping everything off the ISO and onto my HD. If you use winrar to extract the ISO it fucks it up.
Release plays great so far, played for about 3 hours and had no texture problems or anything else.

set your systemdate before nov the 16th and you´lll never get errors with ai_disabled or node graph, works gret for me.

i have a problem. i have the emp release with the ape fix. i run the game and after a minute or two it crashes saying "connection to steam server lost". i tried to disable and enable it already in the firewall, tried playing with my inet connection on and off, nothing helped. i also tried ownage's fix and it didnt help. any idea?
edit: btw, i dont have steam installed... i need to install it maybe?

Hmmm, still no decent group that has released the game. Seems like Emporio deserves more credit than we first anticipated.
As for buying the game, I was initially planning on buying a game for another rare time in my life, but after I noticed about the activation I am greatly considering of downloading it instead.
What if I want to play the ga,e again over 5 years? Will the activation servers still work?
And besides the activation system gives me the unpleasant feeling that you don't really OWN the game you paid for, you still need valve/steam to play it. That's the biggest thorn in my eye.

just buy the game or wait for release that will disable the need for internet connection cause basicly thats the protections and sooner or later someone will crack it.
i am going to buy original copy as soon as it will be avalable in my country-(i want box-dvd and not steam-thats why i am still waiting)

I have copy the .dll file in the HL/HL/BIN Folder,
but wenn i start the HL.exe i get an error
"Unable to load filesystem _stdio.dll"
any idea??

There is a *PROPER* now.
I got this link from the HL² channel on irc.
It's almost the same as teh APE fix, they started from there but add a liitle content.
Seems the AI problem is gone with this fix.
In the NFO there is:
The ape patch for the nuked EMPORiO
release seem to work for some people but still with ai_disabled error º
However even this pack contains binaries modified by ape some files
Follow the steps below to play proper without STEAM/CD:

Have launched the download. It's around 4 GBS. Anyone know if the damn

Those 3 rars will make 1 when unpacking..
You will need them all 3 to unrar.

Euh.. I think we have a problem here.
You must follow the steps EXactly, than there is no problem!!!
Did you block the game with your firewall... if not.. do it!!

I blocked the Game with my Firewall all the Time.
Can you plz...post me the right Steps?
The only steps i read ....is to copy the Dll
And start the Launcher, or the Hl.exe.

I see that the 3 separate files are all different from the proper crack.
You must dl them all 3.
unpack them to your hl2 folder.

1. Unrar all files into your HalfLife2 folder *replace existing files º
º 2. Run Launcher.exe. º
º 3. Play the game.
Easy isnt it?

yeah...i do this.
But wenn i start the launcher.exe nothing happens,..i see the processes
running in my Task Manager...and thats it.
Sorry wenn i ask all the Time,....but i´m searching for a Solution.
I see that the most other ppl got the Game running.
