yes in the menus you can choose options using a mouse

Yeah, and what few people know is that the mouse support in the menu is the reason why the game took so long to port to pc. It was actually ready back in november, but they had to rewrite the code from scratch to integrate proper menu mouse support. Very Happy

Nice price, known brand and has analog sticks. Any other suggestion around this price or is this good enough?

I have my pc hooked up to the tv so it's kinda the same thing, if the game doesn't have any bugs and the graphics are better and sharper it's even better and there should be some extra content like in assassins creed.

DO NOT BUY IT!

Buy a cheap one, xbox 360 pad or logitech rumblepad 2 for a few buck more. This one has some serious calibration issues with analogue pads.
I also wanted to buy that one then read some negative reviews all over the net . I have rumblepad 2 now for years and have absolutely no problems with it.

In short
Rumblepad 2 = one of the best gamepads
Dual Action = one of the worst
and the look the same

better off with a 360 gamepad, a lot of pc games that come out nativly support it, and games with the games for windows logo, will support the gamepad with no frustration as well.

lolwhat? Disregard what FireMaster said, he has no clue.

Your game crashes because you have an AMD XP processor, which doesnt support SSE2 instruction set. Only way to get around this is to upgrade your processor. Theres NO other solution.

Nah its still a good card, managed to play all games released since i bought this computer back in 2004, only upgraded the gf4-gf7800gs and 1gb ram.

Though i had the same problem with Assasins creed, it crashed exactly as this game.
If i remember correctly it was my processor, you need a dual core.

I mean if i can run Crysis at medium-high details with ok FPS , this crap should run to.

I bought Dual Action, installed latest drivers and it's working perfectly. Maybe some early version of this pad had issues, or maybe drivers had. If you look all the complaints are from 4 years back. Anyway it's working perfectly just tried in a few PC games as well as PS2 emulator.

It's was definately not driver related, but they may have fixed it because D-pad on that picture is different than on early versions.

I bought the Dual Action 4 years back. Smile I was satisfied with it back then as well, didn't use it that much. But then after about a year the analog sticks (especially the left one) got really unstable... They started moving by themself in one direction, calibrated really badly. I'm thinking about buying a XBOX360 controller as well. Cool

What do you get, error msg etc.
I made a shortcut from the .EXE in the main folder, it would not launch using the VISTA "game" launcher.
