ludacris seriously... but atleast they kept paynes family death. i thought the "angels" were like a hallucination from the V drug (what would make sense, and give the movie a good "symbolism", a guy dying and someone seeing an "angel of death" taking him away as a hallucination). but its gonna be Pg-13... it should be R-M atleast, F*CKIN FOX!

yeah the movie doesn't have the max payne spirit , the thing that made max payne sooo enjoyable

the thing that made MAX was NOIR and its gritty comics , they should made this movie this way - like Sin City but with the style of those Max Comics but its TEEN , ITS FOX and it crap , so leave your brain at home and enjoy the ride

well it's not like we know for sure what exactly that means.  Could be hallucinations.
I think the trailer looks nice. It has the dream sequences like in the game. It looks like the game. Marky Mark has payne done right. Only prob is the other characters. But it's payne. not mona sax or other shits.  It's just payne. Angels could be anything at this point. I don't think it's super natural cause they've put a lot of effort to get a close feel/look to the game.
Stfu w/ the actors and shit. They make movies that will sell. Not movies that will make kids go all crazy to watch. Cause then only kids will watch em. And no money. THey didn't fuck up a lot. They kept lotta kool people from the games. Some bits do look real nice.
Can't wait to see it. It can suck like any movie out there. But marky mark got payne down. Even when he jumps in the air it's like max payne ffs. His voice. Everything.
Have you guys played max payne or just ran through the levels shooting things? Seriously. It looks decent from the trailer. Could be instant trash the moment it comes out. But right now... it looks decent.

the flying things could be a dream like he would have in the game.. or he could be seeing shit from effects from the drugs.. either way I think the move looks good. I was a HUGE Max Payne fan and the movie looks like it will deliver.

 Completely the opposite. They make it PG13 and put those "actors" so kids would go and see it, because grown ups aren't enough for fox.

Err they make it pg13 so they can get a shit load of people in the seats = make money. If they made it r... only a selected few would see it. ANd they won't make money.
It actually has a max payne theme and the atmosphere. Not 100% but it's gritty and it's dark and it's funny! Max payne was noir over the top comedy with kick ass funny metaphoric lines. That's whaty ou got here. What more do you want? A guy who looks like max payne? A couple extra swear words?
Sheesh just so they aren't hiring people who look like game characters means shit.
And marky mark got max payne down. I like watching the trailer. It feels like max payne. I dunno why you guys hate it.
It could still be a shit movie. You got max payne dream sequences. You got the whole max payne atmosphere. A cop alone mauling through a shit load of baddies. ish cool!

You sound like you have seen the entire movie, not just a trailer. For all we know the full movie might not have the "max payne theme" and atmosphere at all, just that they cut together the best parts for the trailer. |

Well, from what I've seen in the trailer, it kinda matches the leaked script of MP, so the drug Valkyr is in there. As in the game, those hallucinations probably have nothing to do with the pain killers.
