pallebrun, have you experience a freeze in the game yet? I'm curious as to know whether this happens or not. Also how are you meant to know where to go without the radar?

great, so the loading times before radio sessions form the demo are gone in the final?
also, does the game run more stable than the demo?
i remember in the demo it got pretty slow when 3 enemies started shooting at you simultaneously.

i installed it on my harddisc, and i freezes one time, when you meat adam (cutscene)
gonna try one more time and see

exactly what pallebrun said, use ONLY dvd decrypter to burn ps2 games, there are alot fo games that lagged or freezed for me when burned with nero, instantdvd or prassi primo dvd, but so far all games i burned with dvd decrypter worked perfectly

I've heard about this problem, seems to only happen while running the game off the HDD. I don't think I'm up to or passed that bit yet, so I'll let you know if it happens with running from DVD also.

Do you never get any new bandages and all the other stuff you use when you get really hurt? I have used quite many.
I have played almost 6h and have been in a few buildings but have not found anything like that yet, only guns, ammo and rations etc :/

anyone know how to fix my problem?
I got a euro ps2 (pal), and I'm using SwapMagic discs to play "backup" games.
But MGS3 is black and white..
no colors..
how can I fix that?
I know I can choose pal / ntsc with the cd swap, but not with the dvd swap...

start with the Swap magic cd and choose PAL video signal then refresh the TOC using the Swap magic dvd (use eject button to refresh toc) .. then at the PS2DVD message press 'x' and wait for new screen then swap for backup and press 'x' again

u get them when u grab a body and release it (randomly)

my MGS3 skips on the radio conversations and most of times i dont get the speech. i see some disc icon with a question mark. However if i press X the speecht text shows up but without speech. Is it nuked?
and btw u arent all the time in the jungle. during the game u get inside buildings too

I only get ammo and other stuff. Never any bandages and such things :/
I even grab the bodies multiple times to make sure i dont miss anything.
Maybe i'm not far enough to get these things yet...

Can be alot of things matisto.
Media, laser (old ps2 for example) etc.
It's not the chip though since i have a duo2 in my v10 ps2 and i have no problems.

maybe you burned to fast?
burn at max 4x then it should work.

Burning speed can mather if you have an older ps2 with a well used laser but if you got a pretty new machine it wont mather as long as the media is good.
