Not just that, for release discussions, forums threads should be linked to release postings & have the possibility of commenting on them, instead of having to filter through dozens of useless posts/threads before finding real information about the release.

My thought is why mention a game that a clone has been released , as long as it works on a non sh*t PC and without burning , what more can you ask for, ie: FLAT OUT, i personally would rather have a clone than a cracked version, as for flat out i will support the company , it's a worth while buy....

most clones with sf3 use a mini image
but they are playable so the "bigger titles" do get released one way or another

This is a useful thing :
Steps to unblackist virtual drives.
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
1. Go to your Control Panel
2. Doubleclick on System
3. Now click on the tab labeled Hardware
4. Then click on Device Manager
5. Under System devices you will find many names listed, but the only 2 you need to write down are "PnP BIOS Extension" and "Plug and Play BIOS Extension". "PnP BIOS Extension" belongs to Daemontools virtual drive and "Plug and Play BIOS Extension" belongs to Alcohol 120% virtual drive. Now you can close the Device Manager.
6. Go to your Windows directory and open regedit.exe (Registry Editor)
7. Now find this entry in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM
\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\SYSTEM
8. Under SYSTEM you will find numbers like "0000" "0001" "0002" "0003" etc etc. Now click on any of this numbers and look for "DeviceDesc". "DeviceDesc" contains a description for the device. If you just have Alcohol 120% virtual drive installed you have to find the number that contains the "DeviceDesc" with the text "Plug and Play BIOS
Extension" next to it. And if you just have Daemontools virtual drive installed you have to find the number that contains the "DeviceDesc" with the text "PnP BIOS Extension" next to it. If you have both programs installed it speaks for it itself that you have to find both numbers.
9. Now to the important part. If for example the number "0002" contains the "DeviceDesc" with the the text "PnP BIOS Extension" next to it, you rightclick on the number 0002. Next you click on "Permission...". A window should appear. Under the header "Security" you first have to click on "SYSTEM". Then a menu with the name "Permissions for SYSTEM" appears below. In this menu you will see the the text "Read" with two choices next to it (Allow or Deny). Click on "Deny" then on OK and then on Yes. Do the same for the number that contains the "DeviceDesc" with the text "Plug and Play BIOS Extension" next to it. If you have done everything correctly "PnP BIOS Extension" and "Plug and Play BIOS Extension" should not not appear any more in the Device Manager under System devices.
10. After you have done this you can play allnew starforce games by mounting the mini image. By the way dont forget to disconnect your CD or DVD-drives or to disable them in the Bios. And if you have any other virtual drives other than Alcohol or Daemontools installed, just uninstall them!
11. Enjoy another bunch of Starforce protected games!

what should i do next to play a non original game ? reverse engineering, decompile the exe ?!?

Yes thats right, for most Clones you dont even need to unplug a drive!
I did some research and found a bunch more that had been released!
As most of em are clones I suggest to update the Titles in the List for which there are clones available:

Not what I was thinking about. I was more thinking of just a constantly updated stickie in the game forum where uncracked games should be listed.
Otherwise, what you are talking about has been on the highest rank of my wishlist for this site. It would be similar to the system on VCDQuality and would eliminate all double, n00b and stupid posts. The threads would display correctly and all "OMG, I Was the first!" announcements would be evaded. I believe I've requested this before but noone took notice.
Admins, mods? Please make it so!

Vietcong Purple Haze only included the original Vietcong and the expansion fist Alpha which had been released before so it wasnt necessary to release both again.
Then we again have a clone:
Dr.Suess.The.Cat.In.The.Hat.BWClone-FTFiSO
..and a cracked one:
Dr_Seuss_The_Cat_In_The_Hat-Razor1911 (nuked for dupe of Adventure.Workshop.Dr.Seuss.Edition-4KiDS) so those 2 games are basically the same and can be cancelled from the list too.

Tnx, removed both.
Only English version counts, so Anno 1503 stays. Though I wonder if German or Italian crack would work on English version.
I got the last three from checking nforce.nl for all Clone releases, now I'm out of options...finding games that haven't been cloned.

Couldn't find English version of Fire Department 2, so it doesn't count. Neither Star Academy 2004.
I've listed both Spellforce expansions, but I wonder if both are in English.
I won't list patches or special editions.
It seems there are a lot more games that come in EU first, don't get cracked.

The best alternative is to have a sata drive, so you can just disable the ide channel where your optical drives are.

so why don't you add Worms Forts. whether it plays ok for you isn't the issue. it still hasn't been cracked. it's still only a clone, which any fool can make.
