they know PC is a risky ground so I'm sure they'll optimise it , plus same PC features will be on consoles and consoles as we know are far more inferior than PC
and if consoles can run it that good then I'm sure PC will run it even better a decent PC that is of course

Eh, that slow buildup thing has been done better before. I far preferred the deception walkthrough. Also crysis does look a lot better, the precision and detail of crysis is unmatched atm. Also all those trees!

man, why cant they release a demo now.. i NEED this game! im actually going to buy it aswel!
this is about the time my gfx card will really start to choke.. upgrade time soon i think

Yeah, you'd probably last for longer with 512 mb... 256 seems to be a real killer in case of 8800GT's

yeah. stupidly i didnt read the description properly when i bought it, didnt even know there was a 256mb edition but thats ASUS for ya. 9800GTX is what i might get next.

Doesn't a 4850 heat up way too much? I read several tests on different sites and every and each of them complained about 48xx having awful cooling system (worse than 8800GT lmao). In some cases 4850 in IDLE would go as far as 77C. And increasing fan speed manually was yet impossible, or if they managed to do so the noise was too loud to bare with... How true is that, I dunno... But I'm guessing single slot cooler may not be enough (again, 88GT experience...)

I think that the PC version of the game will be disastrous for its crashing and performance. They usualy demo the game on XB360, but once they show it on PC it just .... crashes. Knowing its UBIcracksoft they will release one or two patches that still will leave shitloads of bugs.
