yes and i actually hated the demo, but considering there is nothing to play atm i couldn't care less

u can adjust to any game that is if u want to do that, yes handling is twitchy and too sensitive but it's barrable, if it's too hard play it on basic difficulty with all options on

reg is just an old guy, leave him alone Razz

OI its nuffing to do with being old my 8 yr old cant do it either, or perhaps hes too young? Smile

Anyway i cant be arsed to adjust to it as racing games are unbelievably boring imo..

yeah, I'm sucking pretty bad at this one ... but not nearly as bad as in forza 2 Wink I think I just have trouble not holding down the accelerate 100% of the time Razz But hey, practice makes perfect, right?

that being said ... anyone use the x360 wireless racing wheel? was thinking about picking one up ... does it make it easier or harder?

yeah, but is the increased fun factor worth it? I've never actually owned a wheel for anything, wondering if it's worth shelling out $100 Wink

I haven't tried playing this with thhe wheel but I can't imagine it being any more fun since this game is so unrealistic.

I prefered the older Race drivers, the driving mechanics are just too silly on this one for me. Though it can still be fun if you just take it for what it is imo.

not a fan of realism myself, after all I do own a car that is realistic enough for me anyways Wink

woooooooooooooow, suddenly it all makes sense why race games don't have more than 10 or so cars on a track at once. If this game was meant to be a joke then it rocks cause I haven't laughed this hard in a long while. Seriously, wtf is the point having 20+ cars in race if 75% of then are just gonna crash into each other after the first turn? Even as an arcade racer it's just too ridiculous for me.

Graphics and presentation are ace though! Braingasms just watching people play it. I'm too much of a sim race lover to enjoy this one though Sad Wish Forza looked this good.

i can has computar?!

Tried it.... my God - it sucks big time. Driving is worse than NFS:Pro Street.
Don't see how you can compare those. GRID is not supposed to be realistic, just fast gameplay and fun. Its more similar to Juiced, witch is pretty damn great if you like arcade games. Its way better than the Ridge Racers series.

A very fun game, among the best racing games.

Perfect mix between arcade and sim.

ok despite me not really liking this game much i manage to finish all races and there is only one race left which is 1 on 1 koenigsegg 3 laps Le Mans track, it has extreme difficulty and u can't change it for some reason, anyone managed to beat it coz i think it's pretty much impossible

this is the most unrealistic arcade i've ever played even comparing to any latest nfs games

after this forza2 feels like a breath of fresh air where cars actually behave like cars and not taking 90 degrees turns doing 200 km/h

I thought that I would give you guys an update on this. I was experiencing the GRID stutter like so many others have done and then my xbox experienced the issue that can be seen in the picture from my previous comment. It was then ok for a while and I could play it but the video issue came back and the 360 would freeze after about 2 minutes of play. Since doing the xclamp fix and replacing the compound with arctic silver 5 my 360 is working perfectly again. Actually, it's better than it has ever been as it's just so much quieter than it ever was before now that it is being cooled more efficiently...and surprise surprise..GRID no lon ger stutters for me at all. I can only put it down to the GPU overheating that was causing the stutters and pauses in GRID as it hasn't hapened since.
