Watched "Butterfly on a wheel" with the lady tonight. 7/10, pierce brosnan thriller about a kidnapping with a twist. Really good think-thriller. Great ending too.
Recommended! not perfect, but entertaining.

lost boys 2: the tribe 4/10
twice ive been let down by stv titles
i had hoped starship troopers 3 would atleast be a cheesy but fun over the top dumb sci fi flick, but it was unwatchably stupid
now lost boys 2... first of all, the first film was awesome, and this film wasnt even CLOSE to being that good. the story is almost a carbon copy rip-off of the first one: (someone falls 'in' with the young, hip, adrenaline seeking vampires, and its left to the brother to 'save them'... fucking come on, atleast TRY a new story...
it gets a 4/10 from me purely for not doing anything BADLY enough to really piss me off, and it did have a few funny moments, and it WASNT as bad as SS3
some good ideas completely wasted in this though... the 'lesser' corey shows up... for TWO MINUTES... AND ITS AFTER THE FUCKING CREDITS, holy SHIT!! why not do a proper reunion film with those 2 or something, thats what i was expecting this to be... argh, waste... such a fucking waste. Them fucking this film up pisses me off more than how badly they fucked up starship troopers 3.

my gf watches a reality show featuring the two of them (The Two Coreys)... watching it makes me want to shoot myself in the face. but anyways, the shooting of this movie was the subject matter in a couple of episodes ... basically Corey Haim didn't really want to do it.

This movie is very haunting, I will NEVER watch it again. I tried to tell myself its just a movie, but sadly far worse things were done. Just recently watched a German doc movie about Stalingrad, and the German soldiers "confessed" (they usually said they saw it, but not participated) in horrible atrocities.
Felon - 8/10. Great movie, wish there were subtitles though, especially when Val was talking.
Dark knight -10/10, the movie surpassed any hype for me and then some. Not a fan of any comics and usually i dismiss comic book movies as flashy cheap thrills, but this movie was amazing.

Nope, it was a doc about Stalingrad and the turn of WWII. Surprisingly Germans were talking about how brave Russian soldiers were, and how Germans very surprised how fierce they fought since they were taught Russians were subhumans. It is a very good doc, its called "Stalingrad, Der Angriff" and translates something to Stalingrad, the true story. Dont worry there are gazilion other docs bathing us in dirt.

The Dark Knight - 10/10 - Best superhero film I've ever seen. The large amount of A class actors and awesome direction makes this so awesome and definitely worth watching!

yah there are out of sync bits and shit. common with a rushed movie. it's good nevertheless.
Dunno if i want an unrated version of blueray. the one that's out... though it seems unfinished is good. Unrated version will just make me wonder even more. We'll have to wait til 2010 or 3rd batman. So... fingers crossed
