Space Siege (c) Sega
08/2008 :..... RELEASE.DATE .. PROTECTION .......: Safedisc + Serial
1 :.......... DISC(S) .. GAME.TYPE ........: Action/RPG
The survival of the human race lies entirely in your hands in Space Siege.
This action role-playing game from Chris Taylor, the creator of the
award-winning Dungeon Siege games, moves you out from the dungeons and into
space.
You are Seth Walker, a crew member on the Armstrong, the only colony ship to
survive a massive alien attack upon Earth. As the aliens descend upon the
Armstrong, Walker must fend off the extraterrestrial threat using his wits
and weapons. To help his cause, he can choose to augment his body with a
variety of cybernetic upgrades available throughout the Armstrong - but with
each mechanical improvement, he becomes more machine than man. In this
spectacular sci-fi adventure, will you risk your own humanity to save the
human race?
With multiple gameplay paths, its easy to get lost in the immersive
futuristic sci-fi environment. Each decision you make will affect both the
gameplay and the story, creating surprise twists and turns and great
replay-ability. You can improve Seths fighting abilities with a vast array
of cybernetic, armor, and weapon upgrades.
Youre not completely alone in this fight -- your constant robot companion,
HR-V, will help you in your battles with the alien enemy. And like you, HR-V
can also be upgraded to deal massive damage and help you out in a variety of
other ways. Up to four players can take part in the epic Space Siege
battles, allowing for a variety of cooperative approaches to combat.

Of course not.

It's more like Dungeon Siege, than Shadowgrounds.

you need real serial to go online.
so,it's mean you have to buy the game for it.
I hope more games will use AITD
protection, and not shit like safedisc. |
Ok, but do you need a legit serial for direct IP play as well?

Downloading this through usenet or private ftp avg 700kb/s
...It doesn't take a genius to figure out how the end user is won over.

the demo was fun, but ign says thats all you gonna do for the rest of the game. Corridor after corridor, go in, clear out, next corridor. I think it'll become very boring very fast. And no loot part is very worrying, to me loot is one of THE biggest draws in any rpg. Ign says that you will get new weapons when the game wants you to get it, no random drops, only some sort of money for upgrades are being dropped, but you will get each gun at the very specific time. And no WASD in a shooter like that is unacceptable, dont think this game is worth even a download, but to each their own.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

I think you're right. I remember how bland the Dungeon Siege games were. Life's too short to be playing bad games - just because you can play a commercial game for free doesn't mean you should.

WASD is in no way unacceptable. I didn't see anyone whining about it in Dungeon Siege 1/2? This plays exactly like Dungeon Siege.
Just because it has guns doesn't mean it needs WASD.

Found the visuals lacklustre and the gameplay monotonous. Kept thinking to myself how much more fun I'd be having playing Legend Hand of God or Titan Quest.
So glad I didn't waste cash on this. But hey, to each their own.

Am I severely retarded, or is it impossible to remap controls in the game?
What kind of title, in the year 2000 fuck 8 doesn't allow you to remap ANY controls?
Seriously....what....the....fuck....

Im talking about myself, to me it IS unacceptable. Dungeon Siege is mostly melee or bows and spells, so i absolutely see no reason for WASD just like in Diablo or TQ (especially to me since i always play a melee char, so there is no point in WASD controls for melee). But in this one, Id like to run and gun instead of standing in one place mowing aliens down.
And no one is whining, Im merely stating why I think this game is not good. To me those are reasonable complaints especially about the loot. Do you consider major websites' reviews (which are just opinions) as whining when they are pointing out legit problems?
