Yea there are several endings. Only completed it as a cyborg but there probably are 3 ending: cybor/human + the "big choice". Probably just different voiceovers though. The game is kinda easy - with all the healing rooms and the super weapons you get as a cyborg.

When you save the survivors in full human form, you get the good ending and your reward is... well you start producing little Seth Walkers with that chick.
If you capture the survivors and defuse the bombs for the AI in full cyborg form, you get the bad ending and the next evolution of human kind begins.
I dont know what kind of ending you get when you save everyone in full cyborg form or side with the AI in human form.

The big choice is kinda obvious though, vanilla humanity or cyborg.

Man the 100% Humanity ending BLEW. I can't believe I drudged through that dull fucking game for such a shitty, generic, nonsense, bullshit ending. Worst ending of the DECADE.

Fuck this waste of time Sad

How does this cocksucker even stay in business? Honestly.

Game was 100% generic and lifeless. Thought the ending would at least redeem it. Nope.

Does this game works in LAN with Hamachi? If yes, is it a coop through the campaign or lame deathmatch?

yes it works LAN+Hamachi.
The problem is you get 40 skill points/all weapons/all cybers right at the beginning. After you have customized your char you can go and do some missions.
No clue if these missions are from the SP game.

Though why play a game if you get everything at the beginning at the game -.- total bummer for me Sad

As 100% human, last boss was challenging for me. Managed to kill it on the fourth try only.

They are from the other ship that you heard survived.

Also i finished it but i am thinking there might be a possible expansion or sequel. Knowing Gas Powered Games, it probably will happen.

Very mediocre game, not worth whatever price it cost. Easy, repetitive, boring. Already after 3 hours I just wanted it to end and it did pretty soon after with a very boring end though..

Saved just before having to do that choice and completed it as 100% human for one ending, then loaded that save and went 95% cyborg (All parts installed.) and did the same thing but got a slightly different ending. (Somewhat different narrative and both me and that other person looked a bit different.)

Going to try to do 100% human but the other choice and 95% cyborg with that choice now and see what happens. Smile

Oh and lol at that horse thing towards the end, was wondering what happened to those persons and something like that appears.
("Come along Clarah, daddy will keep you safe" or whatever was said.)

EDIT: Seems there's only three endings.

i really liked it. It could have had more different areas and i was hoping to get some outdoor / planet fights with aliens too, but i guess that is either in the sequel or the addon, if one is coming...

I did only some cyborg augmentations (72% humanity) for fear of being unable to resist the bad AI if i was doing too many and the cyborg/human ending was ok. Dunno though, if i ll go through the game again to get the different endings...

They should've named it "Total Annihilation: The Beginning"
"What began as a conflict over the "
It seems to be a common theme in Chris Taylor's games.

i had high hopes for this game. but ultimately, it fails.

bad points:

1. why on earth did the dev limit the key bindings in game (can't change what the 'z' key or make movement via keyboard instead of mouse click)?

2. why isn't there surround sound support?

3. the limited viewing angle is annoying (would've been better if they allowed free angle/rotation).

overall, this game is very dull. there's not much to do or any reason to replay the game after beating it once. maybe play it twice to see the multiple endings (or wait until it's uploaded to youtube). i'm definitely uninstalling this game sooner than later. what a big disappointment.

update:

i just beat it again. this time with full cybernetic implants just to see what's different. well, not much. it really pisses me off that this game could have been so much better. oh, well -- uninstall it is then.

Eh? Use WSAD or Mouse-Wheel/Button to rotate the camera... or am I missing the point?
