my problem is the game start crashing seen this happan
and it crash alot any1 els have this problem or had and know what to do about it?
+ i had really big battle over rome i gona in with more then 1k army game was jumping like craze

Why remaster it. Make Rome 3 and don't fuck up like with Rome 2... Like... make a new engine etc. Make siege battles great again! Work on your AI! And so on...
modders will laugh their asses of when this remaster turd comes out and CA shitty lazy remaster textures will be scrutinized by modders and community world wide who poored so much love in original rome total war and their mods and will make CA remaster look like dogshit in comparison

OMG some people on the forums are claiming it looks suspiciouly identically to the ipad version and this could be a PORT of their IPAD edition to PC ....

There is a reason the modders put so much effort into that game I guess.
Oh I kinda liked Empires also. I dont know - the newer ones did not seem to get the ambiance and immersion right. When they added the heroes, it went completely downhill.
As per usual with lazy remustards, there's no reason for me to buy again something that could have been a free update. Will ISOdemo it out of curiosity, though.

yeah but its to get around a rating, isn't it? makes at least somewhat sense. is it really 5 bucks? i know i've bought it one time, i think it was like $1, couldn't care less.
Time to see how well this has aged. It was my favorite back in the day, right next to Medieval II.

Edit: bought it, played 30 minutes and came to the realisation, that there is no way I'm going to play this game any longer, lol. So I refunded.
same applies to me very every CA game out there atm when u realize ur just gonna play some cheating moneyprinting dumb ai doing same rince repeat every turn and uto resolving lol
how did the multiplayer work ? lots of people playing 1v1 , that was a huge thing back in original rome
Seems alright for the most part. I can get 144 fps most of the time. It's a ton better than the original anyway which has a lot of performance issues on modern OSes.
The only slightly annoying thing is load times in and out of battle are slightly longer than they should be. Feral claim it'll probably be fixed in the first patch.
Bought it again, cause nostalgia fever... played about an hour... tried to merge 2 units by dragging one over the other... it crashed the game... so I requested, and gotten, another refund...
