I'm glad I'm one of them. Their games aren't as great as they ought to be. Moreover, they require ridiculous PC resources offering some graphical jump, still nothing more than this. As stated by Sabin even Crysis' AI was quite dumb in comparison to FarCry's.

Also the gameplay seems a bit disabled. Crytek preaches that they give a total freedom of choice of how we want to play the game. Bullshit. Once you release the girl, there is a dumb cutscene showing how one SHOULDN'T enter secured doors (Psycho just broke them out) if you want to stay anonymous followed by dumb conversation aaaaaand, Nomad fighting two tanks, obviously because scrypt won't let you leave quietly, you have to wipe 'em all out.... o.O.

So called 'freedom of gameplay' sucks here as well as later on when ex. you have to stick to the damn tank to continue the mission, or you have to cross one path to escape aliens, or you cannot fly wherever you want, only the track that Crytek made for you... The game isn't bad, the game is just so much overrated that it hurts my stomach and wants me puke...

Wonder if we'll get to do such sequences in the early parts of this game before everyone gets separated but from Psycho's perspective, would be interesting to see how Nomad actually looks.
(Assuming they don't just use the default model with the helmet and mask equipped.)

EDIT: In that regard I wonder if the ending will be the same level as the one in Crysis or perhaps just before that.
(That cutscene from the carrier level in the original Crysis before everything goes to hell.)

Refer to all those trailers which show nothing more than brainless devastation of every living thing on the screen. How is this going to be good? o.O. IMHO, making Psycho main character was a fail to begin with... >.< He should have neverending amount of strength and armor, why would he need things like stealth cloak? o___O He will blow whole screenplay up either way ~.~

Saying that Crysis sucked is a bit exagerated. Yeah, it didn't had a story in the genre of Planescape Torment, it didn't had a revolutionary gameplay but still, it was build on an impressive graphic engine that no doubt wrote a page in teh evolution of PC gaming graphics and technology.

I didn't apreciate Crysis mostly because it required, and I think it still does, a NASA spaceship to run in high settings, high resolution and at a high performance (in a word - NORMAL). Leaving this aside it was a decent shooter.

And when it comes to the technology that fuels the game, well, one will probably apreciate it much more once it opens the Sandbox Editor. But, then again, very few people will be doing that, therefore lots of people will only apreciate - fairly - what they had experienced after double-clicking the crysis.exe.

I'm replaying Crysis now on v high, but attempting to minimize kills only to objectives. The only thing that stops it from being fun are the goddamn scripts. You plant C4 at an objective, get far away, detonate, and You can see enemies pop out of nowhere.

Ai is also retarded. 5 guys stand in a line, in 1 meter spaces. You grab last one in cloak mode, turn around and knock him out, and so on. Since when moaning raises no alarm but silencer headshots wake up entire fucking island.

I'd love to see AI getting stuck on a rock or falling under bridge like in OFP.

yeah one of the disappointments in the game for me was that there was no real silent take down animation. I mean, why give us a cloak if we still have the Grab the guy, let him know what is going on and THEN turn him around and knock him out. A silent take down like ones in splinter cell would have been so much better.
