Uhm, either this is very old (like "insert timeline pic here" old), or this is the WHQL version of the drivers. Since there's a "beta" in the link, I'd say it's the former. Wink

The speed increases are from the 177 vs 175 drivers and i've had a slightly older version of the 177 drivers for a while now, i doubt i'm gonna see much of a difference from 177.82 to 177.92 but who knows.

Read what? I had PhysX support on my old G80 GeForce 8800GTX a month ago, if not before.

The 177.83 worked for mine. Did you have any previous PhysX drivers on your system before installing the v8.08.18?

I have the 177.83 installed, Gigabyte 8800GTS 320MB. I didn't even run the PhyisX installer, just ran the driver package and it installed Physix driver & program along with the nvidia driver..

Uninstall Nvidia & Physix, restart then re-install again..

You got to clean your drivers before you install new drivers you know:

Quote:
Easiest method below.
D/L Driver Cleaner Pro Or Driver Sweeper and install it.
1) R/Click My Computer
2) Select Manage> Device Manager
3) Expand Display Adapter> R/Click NVIDIA GeForce xxxx/ATI Radeon xxxx
4) Select Uninstall> Confirm Device Removal> OK
5) Restart Computer
6) Enter Safe Mode..Tap F8 during Post
7) Once in Safe Mode> Run Driver Cleaner Pro or Driver Sweeper > Select nVidia (not nForceChipset/For ATI select ATI, ATI CCC, ATI WMD)> Analyze and start Cleaning
Cool Do step 7 Twice
9) Restart Computer> Cancel out of New Found Hardware Wizard
10) Navigate to the Location of your Drivers and Install.

Not that right, every chip from g92 (8800GT) can do PhysX, g80 (8800GTX) not.

Yeah, me and a couple of thousand people that already had it working with the 177.83 on our G80 cards were just dreaming. Rolling Eyes

EDIT: However I did not test that particular demo, just the nurien and some other one with the balls and stuff.
