Has anyone mentioned Sam 'n Max or Day of the Tentacle ... back in the days of games on floppies, those Lucasarts intros used to blow me away. I saw Full Throttle mentioned... I might've just glossed over these two. The Gabriel Knight games had some cool intros too.
fallout or fallout 2...... "war.war never changes" - ron perlman or whoever said that had the whole feeling of the game nailed in those 4 words in the intro, dark, gritty and hella fun
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth
Never played Spellforce but the intro looked damn impressive.
The game is a great mix of RTS and RPG, probably the best mix up to now IMO. I had loads of fun with it and it's expansions, Breath of Winter and Shadow of the Phoenix. Just don't make the mistake of playing the sequel... (which took away all the uniqueness of the first game and turned Spellforce into a mediocre RTS).

Onimusha 3's intro was amazing:
Yeah, that looked great indeed. Also, lol @ Jean Reno.
Dune... the first one, RTS (actually one of the first games in this genre ever). I still remember the voice introducing three sides of the conflict: "The noble Atreides, the insidious Ordos, and the evil Harkonnen..." Anyone still remembers that? I guess I'm just old
The game came on four floppies. These were the days

One of the first, as far as i know Dune 2 was the first RTS (or atleast the game that created the genre that now is RTS).
I had Dune 2 on the Amiga, i love that game (i still play it from time to time).
I know it's not an intro, but anyone that has played COD4 and remembers the nuclear blast... Well, that one. Definitely gave me shivers more than anything else I have ever played.
