what release everyone is using?.. I got the Mercenaries_2_XBOX_360_NTSC release from usenet and it seems really buggy.. sometimes games dont load ( 3-4 minutes in loading screen).. textures ont show up.. I am on the first mission ( where you have to deliver listening posts) and there is one marker in front of an airport.. no matter what I do, my listening post dont get delivered there.. I destroyed the SAM, the helocopter and every living soldier in the area but nothing happens after I thow the smoke on the marker..
Maybe it's just me, but I'm noticing more 'texture-pop' than usual in this game.
Been playing for a few hours, nothing special but still a pretty decent time waster. I like it better than Just Cause anyways
Sounds like it constantly streams data from the dvdrom like GTA 4 from what your describing. Anyone having these texture problems? Cant wait until we can install games to HDD with the next dash update.

I have the ps2 version and after I take the kidnappers vehicle towards the rendevouz point the game crashes on me
I usually dont complain about games and everything but this game really is fail... They had a great campaign and the first game was alright but this is not worth the verb. The graphics are bad. The controls are bad. The story is bad. The single-player / multi-player divide is bad as well. All in all unless your really hell bent to play dont bother. The only redeeming quality would be the easier gamer points I guess since I counted 120 by the time I was done with the first 2 levels.

I totally agree. The only thing that kept me playing for more than 10 minutes was the easy gamerpoints.
