Without ruining them?

I got a really nice jumper, its mterial is 55% cashmere, 45 % silk. It fits me sooo nicely BUT it is way to damn long, it almost looks as if i have a tail Neutral I cant return it now either.. I know this is random as absolutely anything thats ever been posted in here but fuck it.. I was thinking perhaps leave the bottom end of the jumper dangling in hot water for a while, overnight or something perhaps keeping the water heated.. maybe? I dnno..

Some advice from the women, Pistol etc maybe? (non sexist comment Laughing)

Get a crowbar, use it on a candy vending machine to get a huge pile of quarters, then put the shirt in the dryer and pay with all the quarters. Then you need a Chron-O-John(™) to go 200 years into the future to get the smaller shirt.

Washing in hot water the first time usually does it. I hope your thread wasn't directed at me Very Happy Depends on the clothes tho. Like %100 cotton usually shrinks on the length. I don't buy stuff that shrinks (that much) sooo... on't listen to me, I am sure you can google it. I have never been into laundry. I hate it!!!

I dont think there is a way to control the shrink.

Why don't you go to a tailor and get them to take it up from the bottom.

it's your safest bet, they wont even charge much either, it's dead easy for them.

A much better idea.

I am totally a suck washer. If I wash your clothes beware.

kaeye
Just buy clothes that fit. Tailors are so outta date. 100% cotton shrinks. If you want to make things then you have to wash the fabric first to get the shrink factor out. Then the clothes are made.

Tailors arent outta date. The suits I have (they dont fit anymore, had them made when I was like 19) were made by tailors. Suits made by tailors are always the best

Tailors are so not outta date. It's a skill and a profession. They arent as widely used as in the past but still...
