I think it's a good time filler, but then again I have low standards... I enjoy games for what they are.. And up to now I like it, even though I didn't play too far yet maybe 1 - 2 hrs...

I hope it gets better. I'm only a couple of hours in so far. It's okay but it hasn't really grabbed me yet. If it wasn't for the fact thers no PAL ToV I would have stopped playing this already.
Not bad so far so I take your word total bloody that this game gets better later on.

the problem with these pokemon Jap games is I play the demo and really like it and then waste a Verb to burn it and I find the whole game is just a repetition of the demo. And for some reason, however interesting the story, I am turned off by these cartoonish graphics and kiddie looking characters. Even DMC I got bored after beating the first monster!!! Thanks to piracy I at least have the discretion of trying the full game instead of wasting 60 bucks just cause I liked the demo.

you have to charm the bat and the snake with the combo skill from the boy.
RB choose boy, then target enemy and press the X or Y button(skill name is penguin something IIRC)
Then run back to the door. You can only charm one at a time so you need to do it once for each of them.
