no they can't if all those keys in the stores are in a keygen which keys don't work online so what's the point of buying a game which CD key cannot let you go online

FireMaster wrote: | no they can't if all those keys in the stores are in a keygen which keys don't work online so what's the point of buying a game which CD key cannot let you go online | why they should use that keys? they can use only others but guess anyhow this is not how they make keygens...

I honestly don't know how exactly it works and neither do a lot of regular pirates like me , I'm not a nerd
all I know is that they get a copy of the game ( buy it maybe ) and remove the protection or do a work around , as for keygens they either fool the serial by creating keys that goes with its algorithm or buy like 4 copies and publish the serials as new protections aren't that easy anymore

Serials have nothing to do with the protection. It's all about algorithms. You can see that most groups include messages in the serials nowadays, because they include that message as standard and see what other combinations would fit the serial-checking rule via the algorithm.

I think it's only for ATI since it has many problems and artifacts with many games
I'm pretty sure I'll max this bitch

Might be....my framrates went up again when i disabled watereffects (and water detail to medium)
As for protection, i only noticed that i had to make an 'EA Online' account (and register the serial) for online play.
It asks if you want to go online before starting a new game, so i guess it's just a matter of answering no.
Seems to be very similar to spore, so i guess it'll be a rather quick scene release
