i am stuck :/
 Spoiler: | i am inside room 943 and i have found the internal round room in the closet and i took the lens and i combine it with the flashlight and i use it on the eye like mark on the wall and looks like something is going, but..nothing really happends...what now? |

i just finished it twice (just to see all the possible endings). it's surprisingly fun but frustrating at times.
i don't like the car handling. it gets really frustrating in the 'car missions.' i also don't like the non-firing weapons handling (pipes, swords, wooden sticks, etc.). it's a nice idea but it's not implemented very well. i tend to lose control a lot. which frustrates me.
i like how the developer/designer experiment with different things -- like the blinking of the eye to clear the green spray, the 'trench coat' inventory system, and the 'realistic' take on health where you see damages and bleeding on your character.
overall, it's not a bad game.

For those who want to play alone in the dark with pad (not xbox60)
should try this

Basicaly, is a dll "or something" who "emulate a xbox360" and works perfectly with a ps2 pad.
Works perfectly with bcr, in the readme they try it with others game, maybe it work for this one

I dont know but isint work, in the instalation folder of alone in the dark are a dll called xinput1_1 and the one i replace with the zip is 1.3 ¿maybe for diferent version isint work?
But after the intros, when the games tell u "to push some button to start" try to push a button of the joestick and u will see "that works" but not anymore in menu .
Dont know why.

can't agree more, i even think it is briliant at some points, but some difficulties makes it less good :/ |

I'm playing AitD with my old shitty noname gamepad ;p
Some buttons are incorrect but I'm ok with it.
It it doesn't work for you: you need to change xinput1_3.dll name to xinput1_1.dll and copy the file to AitD folder.

guys..any of you know code or cheat to get this power from the roots?
i fucking had 79% and i stuck my self between two rocks with now way to move or kill myself so i went out of the game and when i wanted to continue, i found out i have 34% of this power
 ..this is sucks ...was searching the park for this roots 1:20 hours and now again..damn...
any code to pass this shit lol ?

Damn game. I managed to reach episode 6 with MASSIVE problems, tons of frustration and cursing all over my homeplace, but now the game seems to be so boooring and repetitve and goddamn irritating that I wonder if I'll ever be able to finish it... The only thing that keeps me hyped is guite good story and awesome music. The rest sucks all along....

Thx man, exactly what I was looking for. To make it work, just rename the dll 
Played several hours yesterday, and I must say I like it.
The controls still are a bit clumsy even with a joypad, but it's more than palyable, and the story and gameplay are quite good.
Only thing I hate is the inventory, too slow to navigate and use items.

I haven't grabbed it yet, but why you say it's a stolen crack? Is it the same thing as DarkCoders (TDM)? If not, can I take a crack-only and embed it while transforming the mds/mdf from TDM into a .iso and burn everything?

And what in the fuck are you talking about clueless retard ? Stop accusing ppl when you have no idea what's going on. Darkcoder's crack was just a few byte dll/inline/internal loader.

) and my first impression of the game was really bad. It requires patience, lots of trial and error and kind of an old-school gamer mentality. Once you fully get into the game (IF you manage that) it is a very enjoyable experience. It partially felt like Boiling Point for me. Just not a game for everyone.
