Batman Begins was superb and till now the best comic based movie after BB was X2.. THAT was a real good superhero actionflick! I can't imagine how Iron Man could be any better. The trailers weren't anything special.

You can't compare those two movies.

Batman Begins is all realistic and shit.
Iron Man is futuristic and almost sci-fi in terms of technology (new energy source, flying humans etc.).

Two totally different movies. And Sin City is not a superhero movie actually. If i had to say which one of these three (BB, IM, SC) is the best i would say Sin City, then Batman and Iron Man.

how do these two releases compare quality-wise (they're the only watchable ones as it seems... bad.ivtc hurts eyes, out of synch audio doesn't help either)?

Iron.Man.PROPER.TS.XviD-iLG

and

Iron.Man.TS.XViD-STG

they look pretty similar only the STG seems to be more cropped but appears to have the clearer picture.
any comments? I'm still kinda undecided which version to watch.

on the topic: Gotta love that cynical approach to a superhero(-movie).. really looking forward to DownyJr. in that role Smile

one page back:

The Best one so far --> Iron.Man.TS.XViD-STG-Stuffies (re-encode)

From NFO

What a mightmare......have put 2 in the bin before this has i was going to use different sources
Anyway firstly stripped the audio of Kamera's release..changed a couple of things in AA3.0...and saved the file to ac3.
Then joined the video into one file, whilst filtering......
Had to crop the top, botttom and left side to try and give it a smooth finish and to hide the movement better.
Also increased the chroma.lum, gamma and contrast to make it that bit more brighter and colourful.
Oh also lowered the rgb black base to tone down any white spots.
After all that i had to re-sync the audio i saved earlier to the video to do this i had to split the file into 14 parts and the audio correction
ranged from -18300 - -17300...........then had to rejoin all of them up together.
Have scrolled through and it seems in sync if there's any parts i've fooked up ......sorry.

It is a re-encoded version from one of the members (an uploader) of torrentleech.

thx for the reply

anyhow I know that they're BOTH re-encodes.. was just wondering if one of them is to be prefered over the other.. i can only judge from the sample and that doesn't give away much

The STG release much better than the 2-disc iLG release although the former is not exactly one cd. Anyhow, they managed to get better resolution with a smaller release. Reviewer at rlslog should go to Las Vegas because he needs new glasses.

in reality this movie is just like Fantastic Four lame and boring but the main character/hero that acts like a cunt , that has all /fucks all makes you love this film

guess now we know why the next Will Smith movie will score , speaking about "Hancock"

Saw it in the cinema yesterday and really liked it for the most part. It's a little cheesy ofc but Downey acts well, the CGI is sweet and in many ways it's an awesome superhero movie.

7/10 from me, the ending and somewhat cheesy "terrorist"-scenes blew a higher score.

I really liked some parts but the cheese factor was very prominent.

Cheesiness is a must in a comic adaptation.

I give it a 8-10 . Never checked the orig Comics, but its for sure a good "Marvel" adaptation, and for sure the best since Batman Begins. Love the stereotypical "Islamist Terrorist's" in the beginning, spot on!

And a balled Jeff Bridges is always worth a high score Smile

As I said 8-10...good mindless entertainment!
Hail Downey Jr, the coolest ex coke head this side of Hollywood Wink

Great product placement from Audi though! I bet ya they will sell some more R8's, A5's and Q7's in the States .

Iron.Man.DVDRip.XviD.INTERNAL-BeStDivX.torrent

Internal because the source has a few hardcoded
german subs. However, we still decided to pre as
Internal as probably a lot of people have been
waiting for this. R1 retails soon which is another
reason for Internal. Enjoy.

Yeah it has a bitrate of 4325 kbps, that's no more than a standard dvd release. Laughing

Actually I think because the movie is 126 minutes long, they could have used a proper bitrate and go for the DVD9 size. But hey, higher bitrate means slower encode, so yay, we have a shit release, but it was fast!!1 Rolling Eyes
