How do you continue with the same char after beating the game? Might try Sith Master or w/e the hardest difficulty was, but no way I'll play with a fresh character. If I load the old save it just starts over again with the same difficulty, if I pick new game and the old game slot, it says it'll overwrite. So does the old character transfer if I make a new game into a new slot?
Some more cheats, new costumes/characters won't disable saves/achievements:
Spoiler: | MANDALORE:General Rahm Kota
WOOKIEE:Kento's Robe
DANTOOINE:Ceremonial Jedi Robes
KORRIBAN:Sith Stalker Armor
HOLOCRON:Jedi Adventure Robes
MARAJADE: New combo
LIGHTSABER:Amplified damage
KATARN:Increase force powers to maximum level |

just press continue and u will start from 2nd mission after DV one and u will have all of your abilities
difficulty is not vital u can even change it during the game, so is the mission u can select any of them after u completed game at least once

this save system sucks and the load times are horrible - hate check points then why did they added a SAVE GAME OPTION IN THE MAIN MENU geezz,
and one more thing i find irritating - die... 20 sec wait.. die.. 20 sec wait...die... 20 sec wait ... and so on
it like a old PSX game with bumped up graphics and shitty controls scheme

The menu system, and loading screens reminded me also of the PSX.

Well, after playing the first few missions, I just gotta say how cheap this game feels to me...It feels like it's going through the motions, no heart, no soul, no style, nothing.
There's all of this ragdoll on coke action (please don't arse me with the names of the engines or w/e) but there isn't really much game...when I first saw the controls for the first 2 throws I got I started laughing my ass off, it's Beat-'Em-Up Soul Calibur! and with all the bells and whistles this game just can't persuade me into thinking it's anything more than a really shiny platformer...just very disappointed, I also think the production values are ugh...I mean, I know Star Wars is cheesy, but come on.
As for the loading times, it feels like an old Final Fantasy game to a degree, every little menu click calls for a loading screen; short as it may be...really weird but not a game-breaker...then again, I guess you'd have to have a GAME in order to break it eh?
Just my opinion, don't throw any plastic lightsabers at me please.
Blame! don't act!

This game is so linear and scripted it maked psx1 spyro games feel sophisticated compared.
This game is shite, the emporer has no clothes.

I don't know what you guys expected this to be when you go on about how it is linear. They never said it would be an open world game. I expected it to be like jedi knight or jedi academy, and those were pretty linear aswell. Sure you have less force powers now, but you have way more lightsabre combos, never had that many in any jedi knight.
Go play star wars galaxies if you want a big universe and have fun with your grindfest, will also give you quite a bit more game lenght.

I want to ask those of you that played the full vers. of the game. Is there a button or a way to turn of ur lightsaber, cuz in the demo the only way turning it off was by standing still for about a minute

Also Xenthalon take in mind that doing a 3d game with this quality and open world its to fucking much work ,it´s a game no real life....people complain about stupid things this days.
If you know a little about game development this game as a lot of work from textures to model it´s one of the few games that i stop just to watch the environment, the details in some levels is less ,l but in overall it´s very cool.
I have only one original for xbox GTAIV i wish i could buy this one.

Why the heck would anybody want to turn off their light saber?? If you don't like lightsabers, dont even bother getting this game. This game is made for lightsaber lovers. And yes azzman Im serious I just love love laaave lightsabers!!!!!!!

opinions after the first few levels:
everything except the gameplay is spot-on. The story, music, and graphics (environments) are all top notch. The problem, as another poster has mentioned, is that I'm just going through the motions. The upgrades don't add much depth, and the combat is stiff/rigid. The puzzles are half-assed, too. Overall: a middle-of-the-road game, but it is a must play if you like Star Wars. verb-worthy.

A Jedi might turn off his lightsaber, but a Sith likes to show off
Spoiler: | Do you get one of those double 'bladed' lightsabers later on? |

That was so cool in Jedi Academy, staring down your enemy than both of you turn on your lightsabers at the same time and the battle commences, a real Jedi always turns his lightsaber off when he doesn't need it and there are many reasons I can think of behind it, number one he needs to take a piss and it just ain't worth the risk as you may accidentally snip the head like a Jew or even worse cut it in half, number two he saves battery's.

the apprentice is NOt a jedi though.
| Well you just said an apprentice has the right to chop his wiener off because he's an apprentice he especially should shut it off when not in combat, inexperienced as he is.
