Clear Sky is indeed a prequel and clears up some of the questions that were left after the first Stalker game, hope they can do a proper sequel as well but based on the "making of" video the developers have many ideas and suggestions for eventual Stalker games.

Guys, I've tried the crack on russian version with xenglish.db. Nothing else. As far as I can see, everything works fine.

I just installed it on Vista 64 and it works. Anyway it works till I get out of bed in the camp.
No time to test it more but I think everyone using 64 should try it out. Seems fine. Can't select wet surfaces and I am using a 9800 GTX. Any clues?

I made it to Red Forest and the anomalies are behind every bush xD It so annoying sometimes, guess i need to be more careful...
@Gefore8:
Spoiler: | I know you were playing Strelok in the first game, but if Clear Sky is a prequel (which should mean it happened before SoC, then why are we chasing the Strelok that's from about halfway SoC? Seems to me we're playing SoC again from a different point of view. Also, i never had the feeling i was chased while i was playing SoC. Seems a bit weird, but i guess it'll make sense in the end. |

You're confusing some events, what happens is that.
Spoiler: |
Strelok made three trips to the center of the zone, his first trip was what lead to the massive emission or blowout you saw during the intro movie, a defense mechanism of sort as no one is meant to reach the center and find out the truth about the zone though the so called "Wishgranter" also works to prevent this.
Thus Lebedev and Scar (The mercenary you play as.) comes to a agreement that this Stalker who has violated the rules of the zone and whom you later find out is Strelok and his group must be removed before the zone destroys everything in it in order to maintain balance and keep the truth about it's existence a secret.
The events then lead up to what eventually unfolded in Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl.
(Pretty obvious if you understood the story in that game but at times it wasn't easy to follow, had to go trough several conversations and PDA's to find out about Streloks earlier trips towards the center.

TAGES unfortunately is ever been easy to crack and this game is just uncracked now with only crappy workarounds. DT are blacklisted now and a clone is not possible to do like for other games worldshift or dimensity. many old game used the TetrisEmu to emulate the twin sectors of this protection (Fahrenheit or Asterix and Obelix XXL 2 for example). so we have to wait and hope now into a DT update for this and next games that use this protection
