Then what about transferring from another XBOX 360 i that possible, or do i have to get patched version of the games........

It is not possible to patch a game without Live.

quick question, is there a list somewhere of games with major updates (and bugs they fix)? I have so many games that I haven't gotten a chance to play I would hate to be banned before getting a chance to update. for instance GoW was unplayable for me without the update. asus z170-A \|\| core i5-6600K \|\| geforce gtx 970 4gb \|\| 16gb ddr4 ram \|\| win10 \|\| 1080p led samsung 27"

I doubt there is, I wasn't able to find one. You can google though, some sites report an update if it's big enough.

I was getting a black screen (but could still hear what was going on and could move around/shoot) after killing the first berserker. An update (suggested by hfric) fixed the problem.
