Bonus missions are on DVD2 of install discs. Bonus discs are released separately and it includes music CDs and making of the game behind the scenes video DVD

It is not the crack, dvd & steam releases crash the same way  The problem is with EAX & Miles sound system.

It had solution to the problem, by upgrading to the latest versions of binkw32.dll and mss32.dll and replacing Miles support files, but the links to archive are being deleted by the mods.

These files solved crash with my Steam version.
*** Mods, archive don't contain any cracks or patches. It is just dlls and support files, and I think one could also get them by downloading redistributable package *** |

Same for me, I have steam version and some guy posted a fix I think he just copied miles from cod4 now my sound is fixed, it's the same problem with other versions.
Great game those adventures are really cool, if they are long as they claim they are this game just got a huge longevity boost plus there is the adventure creator which probably means more adventures.

Hmmz... Unleashed working great, but I keep getting random crashes to the desktop every now and then when Saving and Loading. Anyone know if this problem exists with the Steam version?

i bought the original and patched it up to the enhanced edition....am now one of the many players (both NV and ATI users) that are getting blurriness after cutscenes.. *sigh*
only workaround is to lower lighting to "low", but i didnt need to do that before the patch...oh well....patch 1.5

I already have my orginal 2007 Limited Editon patched up with this nice patch, but can somebody tell me if the Skidrow release can be installed without activating?
I'm asking because I'm considering getting that release so I don't have to wait for nearly 2 hours every time I want to install the game with the EE patch.

Must say this game is brilliant, when it was first released I just played it for 5 minutes and stopped again because of bugs/bad performance. Gave it another try with the new release now and it's great, am in chapter 2 now after playing all afternoon and evening.

i got game when i purchased my vid cards from new egg and game came with sleeve with registration code and serial on it i lost that dang sleeve. i know im a idiot. Is there and way to install ee patch with no code or get another one ??

Is there anyway to REMOVE the nudity from Witcher.
I googled for quite some time and the only thing I found was a 6.2GB Witcher 1.2 rar file which had the censorship patch in it.
If anyone can help me out, will be much appreciated.

Browsed the official forums, it seems that you gotta replace the texture files from the dryad, alp etc models.
Looks like a lost cause though....

It's just the "localized00.bif" file that holds these changes, replacing that file with the US version will censor the naked models and cards that you'll see in the character menu however the various .BIK movies will still be uncensored.
(Can be replaced as well but I'm unsure if anyone uploaded them.)

The first 2 lists is the voice-over language selection,and the subtitle languages, the grayed is the english. The options below are the 2 bonus quests,their voice overs and the Djinni adventure creator.
EDIT : oops, yeah, you're right, the grayed in this case should be the russian

Hmm. Found Glottis post and according to screenie he posted the grey would be russian in this case. In english installer english is grey.

Now you don't need to download all those GIGS if you still have the first version.
You only need TWEE_Upgrade.exe and TWEE_English_language_pack.exe
Here what i did:
1.Create Directory C:\TWEE
2.Run C:\TWEE\TWEE_Upgrade.exe /extract_all:C:\TWEE
This will unpack installer to C:\TWEE
3.Copy TWEE_English_language_pack.exe to installer (C:\TWEE\Disk1)
4.Copy modified setup.inx (C:\TWEE\Disk1) Found it at rapishare.
5.Run setup.exe, registration not needed And then copy
witcher.exe and the proper directory. Found it at gamecopyworld.
