judging from the reviews i found so far this one for the most part ties in seamlessly with the original gameplay wise. so i guess i'll be wasting many hours of my life with this one as well.. can't wait !

oh what is wrong with me now - i used to play COLONIZE to death back then and now when i tried do play FreeCol i found it too mediocre play for some longer amount of time... but i know that i'll love the new colonization can't wait

For some reason my 'auto select next unit' stops working after a while, even though I have it on in the settings. So the game stops selecting the next unit after I've moved it. I've probably missed some button somewhere, but I've checked everywhere in the interface. Any ideas?

Its standalone, just the gfx sucks, hence it can all fit on a CD Razz

just played this for about 3 or 5 mins, prob a personal record for a game like this. well, its crap, not my type of game. Personally i feel it lost it's original charm and it feels like you're playing Civ 4 and not Colonization. I'll prolly try it again but so far pretty disapointed.
