for my opinion
this game as a potential to be the best in the series,
the control scheme looks great, the first game in the series with Resident Evil 4 style
controls.
more emphasis on the combat, then the previous titles,
and the story sound quite good.
I really hope there will be mouse support for this game.
well, hope they will not make the same mistake with
the RE4 for the PC.
If not,Mod that will add that, will fix that for sure.
like the mod for RE4 PC that add that and fixed the Graphic.
BTW I'm playing now Silent hill 3,it's feels quite strange to play 17 years
old teenage girl...
but the game is one of the scariest game that I have ever played ,
except Condemned and The Suffering
I'm really considering to buy the game trough Steam.
Hope it will no be a flop.

about Pyramid head that will be in the game{here is a picture of him}

EU version in November but the US version will be released in September, guess they have a bad publisher and I'm unsure if the PC version will be released at the same time as the console versions.

Silent Hill is my favorite 3rd person horror series so i'm ecstasic for the release of homecoming. I could have bought it for the PS3 but i will get it on PC instead since it will probably look better with AA , AF , higher resolution ect. And for once PC gamers arent screwed since the game will be out at the same time as the console versions.

Look like next week will be Silent Hill Week Very Happy

i dont see it listed on steam, even with a search, maybe because of the later release here in the UK-dont know, but i am looking forward to the game, i dont think it would be wise for the publishers to release it the same day as fallout 3, i mean that makes as much sense as releasing a game the same day as half life 2.... vampire-bloodlines for instance.....its almost certain financial suicide, especially with a niche game like silent hill

either way, ill get fallout 3 and silent hill homecoming, i have the rest of the silent hill games...even bought a PSP to have the PSX ones/PSP one.....sad wee man that i am LOL

Games often aren't listed on Steam until the day they are released. There was zero warning that Age of Conan, The Witcher Enhanced Edition, Crysis and Crysis Warhead, and Colonization were coming to Steam, for instance. They each just showed up suddenly.

I expect the same for Silent Hill Homecoming. Even though there isn't a pre-release listing, I'm still very confident that it will be there on Tuesday the 30th.

I still can't believe it's being released tomorrow. But i fear it'll take some time to get cracked.
And I'm not familiar with steam at all. Has any steam-only released game been cracked?

But according to some people here and overall info above it's not steam only. We just have to wait additional month for DVD release.
