Nox (one of my all-time favorite games) - *cough*http://www.noxhub.net/*cough*
Soldat - http://www.soldat.pl/
Age of Wonders (original, the sequels suck!) - no link...
TetriNET (awesome mp tetris game, with powerups!) - http://www.tetrinet.org/
Worms (world party or armageddon) - no link...

If I think of more I'll add 'em. Wink

He said with his girlfriend, so don't suggest something too competitive.

My gf just loves Serious Sam, so try that. Girls are more into coop, so maybe check the coop games list (http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48732).

My gf usually enjoys: Serious Sam, Diablo II and the Lego games.

I would suggest trying any of the RPG games you can play together. Mainly Dungeon Siege and Sacred. Those type of games don't require fast reflexes, and the whole concept of grinding and looting can be very addictive to unexperienced gamers. If she digs the gameplay, coming back to pimp you character is a good reason for her to play the game again. It has worked for me in the past.

Red alert 1 and C&C original run after getting the fix from there. Replace THIPX32.DLL in the directory with the downloaded one, works fine.
