Well not sure what settings you use mate... To me it seems prettier. Not only that though.
Really impressed so far. Animations are better, players ask for the ball, shooting is finally fixed (seems more like in PES6, which i find the best anyway), positioning looks better, great celebrations, keepers dont punch the ball that much, etc etc

hmm, i suppose it does look better, probably thought it looked uglier because i played fifa 09 right before i played this one.
gameplay is indeed really good though

Played it. Not impressed with the crowd chanting. The Liverpool fans version of "When the reds go marching in" seemed to be in slow motion.
Seemed good though, the game i mean, quicker than last time.

My first thought when seeing the game where the players come out was; omg, what have they done. As you play it more you appreciate the graphical improvements, particularly with the players faces appearing more realistic. Someone was complaining in a FIFA thread about them being photographically correct, which they are, but lacking the 3D modelling and animation to back it up - but that's not the case in this version.
Other than that I felt like crying. I'm not even going to discuss the gameplay.

I'm happy with this, much better then 08, just hope now the online mode is sorted as 08 was a disgrace.

The ball sounds are awful! sounds like someone hitting a really small bongo drum at times. Apart from that the whole game looks more polished and runs a lot smoother than older versions, in older versions of PES it really hurts your eyes trying to follow the ball when it's moving fast like from a goal kick, this is much better.

just tried the demo, it is a pes 2008 with more slow gameplay nothing else....
I cant enable v-sync and if i watch the introduction to the match , the pc reboots. if i skip the introduction to the match the game runs fine... lol

Codec problem ? Which only happens at video end ? Who knows ...

Damn, for some reason the settings.exe only lists me like five resolutions with the highest one being 1280x720. 1280x1024 which is my native isn't listed at all. Does anyone know why?
