I am going to watch a movie with somebody that I care about, and that person likes fantasy movies, and I would like to know of any good fantasy movies, lord of the rings is excluded.
I'm sure it has already been seen by many many many people.

I liked Stardust too. Watched it with my niece and thought "oh god, this is gunna be boring as watching paint dry". But I actually thought it was really good.

My only beef with it is the main character. Why does he have to be so prissy looking. Whatever happened to men looking like men? Im not talking hulking arnold type guys or anything. But all these movies nowadays have these pretty boy's in them.
Its very annoying.

It's the world taking inspiration from feminism. Men can't be men anymore because it offends women.

Ridiculous eh?

If I were a woman, id want to see a man on screen. Not some prissy bitch who could pass for a woman if you put him in a blond wig.

Its not like, being a man, I wanna see some chick who is a brute on screen when im watching a movie.

Retarded movie industry...

It sounds to me like he is just as big of a "prissy bitch" in the original novel.

I mean, he's half fairy ffs Razz

Yea... I dunno, meager men serve a lot of purposes in writing... Vulnerability incarnate. The bruce willis' of the world have their place too, just like the adrian brodys.

I think you are right in saying there are a lot of them in film and television because the emo thing is in still and its just trendy. With your allusion to arnie, and when he was big in film, you had very few meek and meager men, but more stallone, arnie, willis types. It's a trend, and it'll change.

I blame tom cruise for making piece of shit pretty boys action stars.

Stardust is amazing by the way. Also.. if you feel like pussing out a bit Enchanted was a FANTASTIC movie. It really blew me away.

Spiderwick Chronicles too!
