that's what you think, but in reality it was like this:
"whoa! look at that epic intro we made!"
*publisher enters the room*
"so, where's the game?"
"game? we have an class-a intro"
"you know you should have made a game?"
"what? aw shit... back to work guys!"

or somewhere along those lines... Laughing

anyone on vista what is your default public folder structure?

C:\Users\Public ..what other dir in there?

i've deleted these long time ago and now this game is giving a csidl_common_documents error

you can still continue to the install selection where it'll tell you there is not enough space to install no matter what you uncheck

the fix is to recreate all the public folder crap from a google search - doesn't go more specific....

There is at least one that restores health instantly, however the name of this potion evades me. Sad

Just made couple of those, all those salamanders really like to slice and dice me Smile Leveling up in this one seems waaaaay slower than on any other game (good thing). Don't think I can take that many hits more than in the beginning (playing in the III). Better to die quite easily than to start a game with 20 HP and in the end have 25670 HP.

@ OnBoard
Before you know it, you'll be gaining level after level. Also, give priority to the first upgrades of the main attributes, they give a lot of bonuses ! You should also forge a better stell sword, you'll get a better silver sword from a quest and also a very good and cool-looking leather armor !!!

Soon you'll be improving so much, you'll be feeling sorry for the enemies ! Also, better to use Swallow, since it lasts a long time. You can save up on ingredients that way (just run around avoiding the enemies to give it time to work if you're low)

Also, the Igni sign deals a lot of damage if you invest some points there, and it hurts all enemies in front and side of you. Wooosh !!!

VGAdeadcafe: cheers.

Have had my eye on the 5000k leather vest, but not enough money. I'ts good that there is a better one coming Smile I have had a blue meteorite sword for a while now, it surely helps along with some blade coatings when needed. Also just got my 3rd rune for silver sword, need to forge me one although not sure if I could.

Noticed that I should have upgraded more my main atributes and less of the sword stuff, but in the beginning only had those bronze thingies and silver ones are needed now.

As soon as you get your first silvers spend them on the first upgrades of the main attributes, hell of an improvement !

Also, you can get some XP (not much) from the boxing and card questlines and of course the hunting quests (although I sometimes miss 1 or 2 of them in each chapter, some monsters are kinda rare and boring to look for)

And do as many quests as you can before leaving vizima for the first time.

Goddammit, this game pwns so hard, but I finished the new stories today and uninstalled. Oh, well, what to do ... all good things come to an end.

This isn't some fps, where you can use usermade maps and mods. This needs some expert designers.

In the swamps I run a lot early on. Those plants are wicked, but vulnerable to fire ... the igni sign. Things get better after some levels.

Or maybe just run like hell and prefer daylight in the swamps, cause there are less enemies. Also I use the alt key a LOT, so I can spot enemies in a distance and go around them (although plants just appear)

The goddamn swamps in the game get on my nerves, too Very Happy

Ya no kidding, I remember why I originally stopped playing. God forbid theres the slightest bit of free roam, fucking maze after maze that you can't see the fucking boundries so you constantly lock yourself in or have to spend 20 minutes figuring out how to get on the other side of that invisible wall which really is a pile or fucking twigs.

set your lighting to "low" seems to cure it, but it makes the game not look as nice as it should, supposedly they "are working on a fix"....atm the only way round it is set your ligting to low in the advanced settings

Thanks man, I was just looking @ the official forums and they suggested the same.

I can't believe how such an obvious and major bug made it to the shelves though...
