Just a string doesn't prove anything. Many exes have (unused) strings from other versions etc.

MY GOD !! this game is a piece of shit.Dont search a good crack or edit mode,dont lost your time. How EA made this game ? FIFA 95 is better, the gameplays not exist.how EA wins money in crap game like fifa ? mililions of dollar? my sister with 5 years make a better soccer game. Pro evolution soccer 2009 is much better.FIFA 2009 not exist , uninstall now or better... never install this or buy it. sorry my shit english

Why are the graphics crappier than the 360 version?
Why are the fancy post processing effects only used during goal replays?
Why do player models, when zoomed way out, suck so bad?
Why are the graphics shit?

Is it that bad on pc?? I tried the 360 version, and it´s a great game for any football fan.
They said the PC version wouldn´t suffer from lousy ports this time...

i had to watch a 3 min gameplay movie from the x360 version to reach that conclusion ...

in pc always happens the same thing the same moves the same defense goalkepper the same kick i palyed on rain said me are incredible,is cool the ball stop on water. but still a shit game,everbody says here is a pinball game not a soccer game

It's not a lousy port... because it's not ported from the next-gen consoles. It's just a failed hybrid.

Depends entirely on what you think, i havent seen or tried the 360 version but imo Fifa 09 is the best soccergame on the PC so far, maybe PES 2009 beats it but then it has to be way better than previous PES games.

haven't play any Fifa game for awhlie, but I have PES08 and the quality is pretty tough to beat

EA Sports is working on an official patch for FIFA 09 which probably will be released today or tomorrow. This patch will include these changes:
Save Replay option available upon online game disconnect.
Live Season in Direct IP matches
Fix improbable quick freekick hang
Online Disconnect when shooting with mouse-wheel.
Correct some MLS team names
Fix Mouse & Keyboard controller colour issue (colour chosen in side-select screen did not carry into gameplay)
Installer images missing
Allowing special characters to be entered in Account Creation and Sign-in Widget screens
