it was setup out of the box so i didn't even configured anything | GFW means the game will support the xbox360 controller, well it didn't, the buttons where all wrong and you couldn't map the triggers which was an utter disaster, windows recognizes the two triggers as analog for ex. in gta4 they where used for firing and for acceleration when driving a vehicle so since they are analog you can add a little bit of gas and go slow or push all the way and go fast you can't do that with an ordinary button right, so AC didn't recognize them at all and you where short of two god-damn most important buttons in the game, games for windows my ass, if a non GFW recognizes these buttons and a GFW doesn't then the world should be upside-down for this to make the slightest bit of sense.

Sorry for late news, I just got the newest issue today, damn Poczta Polska.
Steve Hahnel, one of Rocktar employee, said: "We work on consoles, because most of the world play on them, but we never forget about our PC heritage"
Controls:
WSAD- walking/driving
F- enter/exit the car
C- crouch
Q- use cover system
The editor played "Three Leaf Clover" and "Flatline" on PC, and said that the controls were very intuitive and he didn't have any problems regarding them.
In the beggining R* showed the PC version on 50" cal TV and there wasn't any big difference in graphics. Later, when they plugged IV PC in computer monitor the difference was HUGE. Everything looked better and animations looked more detailed.
They also mentioned the requirements that were shown on GFWL site and were changed to "coming soon..." later.
At the end they said that PC version will be the best GTA IV available.
That's all.

They should at least come up with a legitimate looking installer that installs GTA:SA renamed to make it look like IV and then proceed to play gay porn when the installer exits.

Grand Theft Auto IV (4) Gets pirated before it hits the streets.
Grand Theft Auto IV (4) Leaked online over the weekend, with thousands of copies being distributed by sudu - Grand Theft Auto Thieves !!
The latest instalment in the controversial but exceedingly popular Grand Theft Auto franchise, which ironically features theft as a central tenet of gameplay, has popped up on various file sharing websites and spread like wildfire over the weekend.
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game is due to go on sale in Australia, North America and Europe on Tuesday, with various launch events planned for midnight tonight.
Analysts predict the title, which has inspired near-perfect reviews from most gaming magazines, will sell at least 6 million copies in its first week to become the biggest game of the year and the fastest selling video game ever.
Hollywood industry magazine Variety reported that Grand Theft Auto IV's success could detract from film box office takings over the next few months as young males shy away from the cinema in favour of the couch.
"It's the biggest next-generation game so far, there's no question about that - it will be bigger than Halo 3," EBGames CEO Steve Wilson said.
Grand Theft Auto IV follows Niko Bellic, who arrives in the fictional US town of Liberty City from Eastern Europe in search of the American Dream. But instead of the riches promised by his cousin Ramon, Niko quickly becomes wrapped up in crime and warring rival syndicates as he helps Ramon clear his hefty debt.
The game, which rewards players for mass killing, carjacking and gambling and also includes drunk driving and simulated sex with prostitutes, has raised the ire of family lobby groups who say it could influence the real-life behaviour of young players.
In Australia, because there is no R18+ rating for video games, developer Rockstar Games was forced to tone down some of the more extreme content before it could be sold here under the MA15+ rating.
"While there are some minor differences between the Australian and US/EU versions, they are not significant and we do not believe they take away from the level of scope and detail that make GTA IV such an incredible experience," Rockstar said in a statement.
But in a reminder of how meaningless local censorship rulings have become in the internet age, the uncensored Xbox 360 versions of Grand Theft Auto IV for both PAL and NTSC regions have leaked to various BitTorrent file sharing websites.
In 2004, a previous game in the nine-part series, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, was leaked to the web a week before it hit stores.
The files can be burned to disc and played on modified Xbox 360 consoles. But those looking to play online over Xbox Live, beware: Microsoft bans the accounts of those found playing illegally obtained games.
Rockstar Games did not respond to calls requesting comment but Wilson said he did not believe the leak would affect sales, as only a "small minority" of gamers obtained their titles illegally.
Most EBGames stores around the country, with the exception of Western Australia, will open at midnight so eager gamers can collect their pre-orders. The game retails for $119.95.
"Some of the stores with a big number of pre-orders have got some competitions running and chances to win Xboxes and things like that," he said.

It's unclear if footage used is from the PC version.
