No your version says "Demo" when exiting, and I don't have language mod mine is 100% english. |

What are you on about?
It doesn't say demo on my version because it's not using the demo global.res file and is a legit international version. That has nothing to do with whether or not there was a demo on the system before, and fyi this is a new windows installation as my harddrive crashed.
But this is a wholly useless debate about I don't really know because I posted something as proof of legit version and you just don't seem to get the point.

Anyway I'm in a gratuitous mood today so I'll give you this

Extract to the sacred 2 folder, replacing files, and all text in the game becomes english, thats all weapons, all menus, all quests, even the exit screen  everything not video or audio. NOT the same as the crappy demo hack thats on torrent sites and whatnot, thats not a full translation of the text.
Lets see how long it takes for the p2p kids to upload it to torrent sites with -P2PKiDNAME appended

You need both. I believe the collector's edition, which features super hi-res textures, requires three dvds.
The hi-res textures are a waste of hard drive space in my opinion. With textures set as high as allowed without the CE pack the game already hiccups when it needs to load to textures. Anyone else notice this?

The hi-res textures are useless because you play the game in zoom out mode where texture differeneces are hardly noticed.

There is an easier way to get S2. Download it from the torrent networks and buy a key online to play the game. First you can use the trial period until 24:00h and if you like S2 just follow the link and purchase the game. Until its out in the USA the key cost 60$.

It's actually quite smart, allow people to distribute the game legally thus no bandwith payment for the devs. But then also tell people that to make it legal they can just go to a specific site and buy a key then it's legal.
This is how you use piracy and torrent distribution networks to your advantage as a developer.

If somebody alsready has the ENG version of S2 he can officially make a copy. We from Ascaron dont know the ENG torrent site but there will be some shortly.
Torrent isnt all bad, its just bad to use it for illegal software distribution. The demo has been offered in Germany through torrent officially, the patch too.
We can not ignore this filesharing system but offer a legal alternative.
