I was thinking of the monster/animal/npc textures but that would be well over a gig to upload.
I'll see if I can do something though.
(Hopefully the full DVD will spread a bit, since currently only a few private German torrent sites have it.)
It would have been better to skip the whole "LQ", "MQ" and "HQ" texture set though and just use the "HQ" or elite textures from the beginning and then scale them back via mip-map levels as most other games do, pretty ineffective to have three of every texture and it does take extra space that way.
The actual biggest change will be the terrain however as you can't zoom in that far to see all your character or even monster/npc/animal/mount details and they're already pretty well detailed.
(Which is what the majority of textures cover, terrain and various objects. - Trying to find the camera settings to allow better zoom but I haven't found it yet.)

The HQ pack is also on a semi-private demon like sounding tracker, so it's not just german sites.

Dude im not sure abotu this Beckman (lol, dan bäckman  ne, men mm), but i think the Elite texture pack ONLY upgrades the non-equipment/character textures..
At least thats what i saw a dev post somewhere, the actual normal textures already have the max res character textures, because those are the ones that always need to be super-high res (for eye-drool purposes).
Basically he said that the stuff the Elite pack changed, was the enviroment textures and every non-equipmen object in the entire world (rocks, ruins, houses, trees etc).
Now, you might just tell me im wrong, but i'd like to know if you checked your textures folder before or only after installing that pack. If it does indeed contain double-res character textures, i just have to get it
I jsut checked and i dont have that graphics21 file.. Fuck! Im gonna have to get it now
7 damn gigs.. sigh. How will i ever get space for that, already cramped. Oh wait i know, getting rid of Sims 2 + all exps, 20gb free right there. LOL

I've seen Beck actually, pretty good policeshow.
You had all the sims games installed Baleur? you probably have children right?, if you don't have children and you're not female then I don't know what to say, and I'm not insinuating anything here at all

Ditto. I loved Sacred 1.
I want to buy this as well. But, don't really want to wade through all the pages here to figure out if I can buy and English version right now or not. What little I did read... was rather confusing with the key buying and what not.

Anyone else getting 5-10 second pauses on their machine? My bro and I are playing co-op, although the game runs great for me he's having issues. Every 30 seconds or so the came just stops/freezes and if you wait long enough continues where it left off. As a result he has to play windowed in order to unfocus the game window when it freezes and refocus than the freeze goes away.
Wierd stuff but I can't find a solution.
