This game is CoD 4, only with WWII weapons.. They even have fucking supressors and red dot sights..

CoD 4 is very far from FPS perfection. The game was very very shallow.

You do realise it's japenese based and not german like all the other FPS WWII games that have come out the past few years, It's about time japenese theme was done in the COD series.

I guess... I remember when Medal of Honor shifted focus from the European campaign to the pacific campaign and it sucked horribly. Im just sick of WWII games in general I guess. I love the history of it, the stories, the battels, the technology of the time and the world political climate, but I just get bored to tears any more with WWII games... until another generational leap occurs in the console tech Id be hard pressed to buy ANOTHER WWII game.
I know this is some people's bread and butter (WWII genre), and I mean no disrespect, it just seems like a step back for the series.

i always hated those kind of games
made me dizzy:)
but then i played COD4 what a fucking amazing game, i played with dizness:)
its ike amovie
it sets the standart for this janner.
i finished COD4 and played COD3 also finished the game was also amazing just amazing
like you playing amovie not agame on a console.
and this new one is gonna be same thing just diffrent areas,so basicly it cant fail.
i tried paying other games like that and nothing comes close ,they all just seem like simple,basic shooter doesnt have he same feel.

I'm more concerned that Treyarch is the developer instead of Infinity Ward. CoD3 was okay...but it wasn't in the same league as CoD 1, 2, and 4. The core gameplay will be the same, but the story and level design won't be as crisp as CoD4. That doesn't mean it won't be enjoyable...the addition of co-op will certainly help.

They could of done Iraq, but the novelty would soon wear off as bombing innocents relentlessly for 5 years and knicking their oil but charging 3 times price could get boring after a while.

I am serious about CoD 4 being a very shallow game. The game tries to be realistic and not at the same time. There's no tactics at all in the game. Sure, playing the hardcore modes makes the game a little bit better, but the gameplay is still very shallow. Not to mention the AI, and mostly singleplayer as a whole is horrible.

I probably beat the SP like 8 times so far and never get tired of it. CoD 4 is a solid game, SP and MP
