its a simple question and would only require 1 minute in responsetime, its not actually that hard a question or difficult matter. But since when is a lawyer or someone who studied law and who visits here on the payroll, ever heard of a friendly piece of advice? If all lawyers are like that, then I don't even want an answer.

Then you don't want an answer. all lawyers are the same and I don't think anyone who studies law is gonna hang out in a piracy forum
put the question here, you're still anonymous all what people know about you here is your nickname , not your face , not your real name nor your home address
so spit it

suppose there's these two people, they'r not married, so guy and girl eh. And somehow the girl gets pregnant but doesn't tell the guy. The girl cuts the guy out of his life and somehow a few years later he finds out this girl was pregnant with his child. So this guy has a child running around in the world. Does the girl have the legal power to keep the guy out of her life, meaning can she keep him from seeing his child? For that matter, is he in his legal rights to ask for a DNA test on the child?

PS : the guy in above scenario is not me.

Yes he has the right for a DNA test because she was pregnant around the time they were together and she can't keep him away from his child unless she gets a restraining order but she's gonna need a solid reason for that

Okay I thought so, so this guy is full of shit then, cuz he told a friend of mine that this girl wanted him out of his life and he could not see his child. And here's the fucking kicker of the story, this girl who has his child is a law student(almost in her final year I suppose). A real father who would take his responsibilities would have enquired this information from somewhere, the same way I am doing it now.

Ooh man, this pisses me off. If there's anyone else that can shed some more light on the matter, feel free to post.

And thnx for your replies.

yeah Firemaster, my thoughts exactly, he is indeed putting the blame with her to wipe his hands clean in front of my friend. A real standup guy would have atleast enquired about his child, wouldn't you be curious what your own child looks like eventhough you are scared of the impact this will have on your life?

man, imo, if you father a child, whether its with your wife, gf, or exgf, you should step up to the plate and try your best to give your child the best things and opportunities you can.
if not, you cant call yourself a man.

Any man you doesnt care about his child is not a man in my books.

Syco, its just sad, and yes in my eyes he has stooped very low, he has found a new girl he's scared that his past is gonna hunt him down and used that excuse of his ex not wanting to see him anymore. But he's far from being a man, who's to say that if he has a child with that friend of mine that he won't leave her child in a few years from now when things don't work out. I am right for looking out for her eh, am I not right for making my friend see his true colours?

although your intentions are righteous you might become the "bad guy" or "jealous guy trying to separate" after that, but if you're sure your friend is smart and is gonna take it seriously then it's worth a try
