I played for a little over an hour just now. This game is freakin fantastic!! The controls and menu navigation are excellent. Think Im gonna get FarCry2 in a week or two because I just love this game!! 
And yes Silent Hill Homecoming sucks real hard compared to this. The controls in SH:H are quite bad.

I think Dead Space is a game you should buy. Excellent, well done, good in pretty much everyway.
I support good games. That way the devs will be encouraged to make more.
Its one thing to pirate a mediocore game, but when its a top notch game, you should really buy it. I mean, aside from the game, I got a sick ass 3d art (like game art) book and a poster.

Why cant you buy it? Cash strapped? If thats the case, thats cool then.
Im just saying ppl who can afford to buy games, should buy the good games that come out. Whether its for the PC, Xbox or Playstation.
Obviously I dont agree with buying shit games. Thats just wasting your money. And if ppl only bought good games, I think you'd see the quality of games rise. Devs would put more effort into making a quality product than some piece of shit they hammer out in 6 months.

How big is the horror element in this game? Sadly most horror games/movies degrade to silly shock moments and ridiculous gore.
